Hello! Competitive Alicia player here 👋 Another tip i would personally add would be the the rate of spell use. Players often use their spells too fast, afraid that they would get shot before using it when in reality it's best to look around and see what's happening behind before shooting (this applies mostly to magic team mode). Another important tip is to never carelessly shoot the one in first! In teams especially, a lot of players hold behind or hold other spells which would slow down some teammates, if you have a bolt and your speed teammate is holding in the back, if the opponent holds chains for them then shoot them instead! That way the player can boost and steal 1st place!
Rank don't really mean anything in this game so no need to worry. Overall nice video and it was nice to see someone give actual tips. I am an old player as well and there are things that are gate kept it feels like lol. Edit: I do not watch many ao content so I do not know if anyone has covered the fact that you can have a guaranteed critical bolt if the player you are targeting is effected by haze. (Its one of my fav things haha)
Hey, professional alicia player here. my tip i would add personally is setting your macros to be as annoying and distracting as possible. then you can spam them while you race to distract everybody while you stay focused. it helps if you say something offensive also like "/wave/phone/umbrella biden sugs dig" so the keybaord warriors will start typing a reply thus causing them to lose control of their character ! hope this helps
if you're using windows (you cannot download AO with google browser) you have to go into your settings and turn off the live antivirus protection (note: the game is safe, it is not a virus! but because it is such old code it flags as unsafe by windows, so you have to turn off the antivirus to install) then you go on the website, download the two files and follow the instructions on the website. then you make an account when you open the game, and play:)
