Alick Machesu is simply and arguably the best and I rate him with the late Leonard Dembo.I think Zimbabweans are natural singers like the Basarwa in my own country Botswana they sing without an effort it just flows
Great things here. Africa is big but music unites us all. Great music from Zimbabwe with great dance moves from Ivory Coast. Bring them to perform as one you see Africa United
Proud to be African and Zimbabwean specifically. I truly hope that the 4th generation is learning these skills and preserving them for future generations to come. Long live Africa !!!!!
Greetings from the U.S.! AMAZING!!! Fantastic music and moves! Its great that the tradition is being preserved and celebrated! But as someone from another culture, I have many questions about the meaning of the costume, the moves and the masquerade. Who is the guy in the last clip that is talking to the dancer? Why is no one in the clip that starts at 1:59 singing or moving? Love the energy!
There is no the o wner of the song in the video but those are the players and he is saying it keeps ringing in my mind who wants to kill me every time in my brain and he does know the coz and it shows something strange happened like murder and or ngozi
The guy in the last clip is someone who is kind of trainer who communicate with them and then about the costume that has to do with culture only few people know the meanings of those costumes maybe the team I guess .... people they ain't dancing because they are not allowed to disturb the masquerade and then the song was sort of edited there will be songs sometimes ...it's culture when they perform people don't need to disturb
