i remember when i first heard this song, my best friend and i used to sneak out of his basement window all the time and walk along the empty highways at 3 am and just talk about life and everything we could think of while we went the 5 miles to the closest 7/11, listening to this song, now every time i listen to this song every memory with him comes rushing back and it makes me wish i didn’t have to move so far

But now i am just listening for example to this kind of music to remind myself to be proud of what type of person i became After all the suffering als all those depressions. This kind of music now is 'just' putting myself to sleep. To be honest, music has become the best part about getting older. 'Cause there's No end to music as it lives on forever. Music has always been there for me and it always will be, just like my brothers and my closed friends. I'm flying so up above all this bullshit called Reality when I listen to music. hearing this when it first came out i was somewhere between 13-15 during that time i was extremely depressed/suicidal. Felt like there was no point anymore. Always listening to music to try to clear my head out and this song always helped .. Now that im 18 Im still struggling but I think Im better.. Im not happy but im glad i can say im ‘ Fine ‘ . I hope whoever feels lost/alone finds peace soon. You can do it .

Back when I was younger, I had good friends that were some years older then me. They were stable in life and did their thing, whilst i was still in highschool. It's weird thinking back that I was weirded out about the idea of having a "life" in the concept of what they had. I didn't understand back then. I was young and I thought I'd always be what I am now ... how naive to think that way tbh. I just now realised how I became the very thing I used to not understand. Having a job, having to do things on your own accord .. having responsibilities and having to take life head on. I always thought that this has to be done alone, it's your fight in your life but remember. It's always better to have asked for help if you aren't stable, if you have problems. I am fortunate enough to have people that support me but many others don't. I hope for all of you who don't that you'll have yourself saved. Let it be by yourself, or someone else.

I’ve only just found this song and it’s so sad but so hypnotising at the same time I love it!!

Listening to this song only a few weeks after leaving my girlfriend of 13 years… Childhood best friends, started dating at 14. We were supposed to have a different life story. It should’ve been the sweetest childhood sweethearts. Instead I fell into alcoholism like my dad. She really did her best to be there for me. No matter how many times I tried to get sober and ultimately failed. In the end, she wanted to put her own savings into getting me into a good program. And that was it for me, I didn’t see myself getting better and the last thing I wanted to do was wreck her life more than I already have. So I left. Worst mistake of my life, best thing to happen for her. I got sober for her. Even if it took me years. Because I was still afraid to fail and I didn’t want to enter her life again unless I was completely sober and never touching alcohol again. 3 years later she had found someone who truly deserved her love. All that matters to me is that she’s happy. This song definitely helped me through those dark times for sure. While sobering up and letting me feel what I needed to feel after getting my heart broken
