@@iplaygames8090 thats the idea, an atrocity so great it will stop all atrocities. In theory at least but if real life is anything to go by, it probs won't solve a thing
I think that moment was when Torres truly snapped. He didn’t care, even about himself. He just desperately needed his twisted perception of salvation to come true.
"We're dead men walking, what is there left to be afraid of?" "3 strikes revels in the killing, tear the wings off that degenerate." "I'm going to fly right at him /and take him down with me!/" "I hereby swear that I will be a proud, brave and vigilant soldier. To uphold the honor of our nation and its military. To submit to the orders of my superiors." -SACS Squadron
Well comparing the Alicorn to its Elder Sisters which are the Scinfaxi and Hrimfaxi, everything is still the same except that the VTOL aircraft were swapped with catapult capable carrier aircraft and its powerful complement of burst missiles were replaced with weaker dual rainguns and a larger railgun to launch nuclear shells and burst shells instead. Apart from the shield drones and the jammer, its kinda a big downgrade on weapons if you ask me.
@@AzureanSky i don't know... this assumes the nuclear shell's damage is weaker than the burst missile though. additionally, we're talking about a nuke. nukes leave the area radioactive. unless the yuktobanian originals had some kind of nuclear burst missile, alicorn's still the bigger strategic threat. you're basically comparing a ballistic missile sub to a sub that can shoot down aircraft. we do know alicorn's aircraft also had some kind of cruise missile attached to it, so its destructive capability already exceeds that of hrim and scin. i mean you can launch a cruise missile squadron to go bomb a few cities and then go and shell the other ones yourself and be at home for dinner by 7pm. i don't remember either hrim or scin having VTOL aircraft tho.... drones, yes, but not manned craft.
@@silentW0rks Well, The older Scinfaxi was able to spam out the burst missiles to defeat the Arkbird's laser fire rate and the Hrimfaxi did massive casualties to a huge Osean operation in Yuktobania halfway across the continent while Wardog was attacking it.
Yes. I was able to sync this once to where Torres says, *"Fire all remaining weaponry at Three Strikes!"* with LACMs. I wonder if it was intentional, since it is able to be timed right and they have been syncing music with moments before, such as in some trailers and in Daredevil.
In retrospect, this mission kind of just added to the raw deal that the OMDF got all throughout AC7. * Why do four warships have literally just one VL-ASROC each? Unless they were fitted with nuclear or burst warheads, that doesn't make a ton of sense. * When the Alicorn first surfaces, even though it's far too close for Harpoons or anti-surface mode Standards, why didn't they open up on it with their deck guns? Hell, start raking the flight deck with Bushmasters and CIWS fire to prevent the Alicorn from launching any more of its air group. One or more of the destroyers could have peeled off for a torpedo run, too. * ASW patrol aircraft are *typically* given teeth, not just sonobouys. Maybe that wasn't done for this operation but you'd think that any survivors could've tried hitting the Alicorn with missiles or aerial torpedoes. * But they don't _need_ to be able to do much damage... just make an effort. As soon as it starts taking fire, the Alicorn could just deploy its barrier drones, thus making Trigger still clearly essential...
Yo the navy were for real some of the biggest jobbers in gaming. Like, woah we need a cool moment? Just have this superweapon/mihaly sink a whole fleet. No biggie.
mr krabs: oh no... it's latin... hurry up, spongebob! spongebob: what's wrong with latin? mr krabs: don't you see, lad?! they're singing in latin! every sailor knows that means death!
I always picture the Radar monitor, and as soon as the singing starts, you can see the blips on it slowly approaching the center, along with Sonar's pings
On that fateful horrible day Captain Torres was truly lost at sea, swallowed whole by a demon, the man who returned was not the good Captain, but Torres The Destroyer! And he will have his REVENGE! 😮
Decided to listen to this while playing war thunder, here's how it was Advantages: Feel like a god E V E R Y shot feels like a railgun Extremely confident In winning Disadvantages: Too confident Big boat: massive target Screaming About salvation in chat Screaming about the whole 1,000,000 lives thing Every time I die in chat It's worth it, play this song playing war thunder
I think that's a disservice to how weirdly charismatic Torres is, compared to Crimson-1. Torres was insane and he let everyone know it, Crimson-1 was just an angry man who couldn't handle getting dabbed on by a mercenary who was high on his copium.
The music gave me major Neon Genesis Evangelion vibes. Doubly epic when I mistakenly outfitted myself with an anti-air loadout for this mission and was at a severe disadvantage against that behemoth of a submarine.
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't, by subtracting where it is, from where it isn't, or where it isn't, from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance sub-system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position where it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event of the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has required a variation. The variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too, may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computance scenario works as follows: Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is, however it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vice versa. By differentiating this from the algebraic sum og where it shouldn't be, and where it was. It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called "air"

When I listen to this song for extended periods of time I start to get this sensation to kill a million people and flood the back of a submarine. I can PICTURE IT!!
To me l find it more difficult if the ailecorn was a battleship and the main guns would fire every time you heard SALVATION and aa and flak lays siege to the sky bullets going everywhere
Funny enough, I was picturing Strider and Cyclops squadrons fighting the Silfurbor Negla from Naval Ops Commander while hearing this song. Picture it! Lasers, missiles, and burst shells being fired from its big-ass 80cm guns and you have to stop its main gun from fully charging and firing.
Let me tell you a story....back when I was AWWNB member I had to go to the Area B7R to intercept the Demon Lord We had the numerical advantage but still we could not stand a chance with him
Luigi has blessed this soundtrack... or is it the soundtrack that has blessed Luigi as he rises from the fountain like the Alicorn from the depths of the abyss? 🤔
I like the fact RU-vid algorithm put Alicorn submarine on top just searching "Alicorn", where before our Alicorn existed on top MLP videos. The *SALVATION* they need.
