I find it interesting that everyone seems to assume that I am comparing them to the original. The fact is I WASN'T. I actually found these first, and then backtracked them to find the originals. Especially if you're going to necro a comment that is several months old, please take a good look at what the person is *actually* saying, before criticizing beliefs they don't have.
Miki Murasaki "if you insist these are better, it is your opinion" --No one ever said they were better, in this entire comment thread. Hence, it was an incorrect assumption that that was someone's opinion in the first place . Additionally, the connotations of such words as "insist", "I can't stop you", and "Your entitled to" are generally of a condescending nature, or at least of somewhat patronizing one. Further, I wasn't really directing it at anyone (if I was, I'd have replied instead of posting a general comment), more just aiming to keep an 8 month old comment from getting re-necro'd for people making the same misinterpretation of my comment. Inferna Blossom Oh, I know. That comment wasn't to you. In fact, as noted above, it wasn't even really to anyone. But even if I had directed it to someone in particular, it would have been one of the two who had "disagreed" with a point I never had.
To me it's very sad that Rainbow Dash sacrificed herself for Pinkie. And died in her place. Especially since Twilight saw Rainbow Dash herself and that Rainbow is still there.
Welp, that was an interesting video. It doesn't really follow canon well at all, but I found it to be pretty good none the less. It is certainly a pretty nice AU, it's quite different but good.
