This is an awesome video from a CD single, recorded from 2001/2002. At the beginning of the video you can see Mike throw his drum stick, it bounces off an overhead truss and ricochets back to his his cymbal, on time.
I really love this video. It shows that they really are talented and it is not just some studio magic. Plus, Dryden's voice is just as pretty as he is!!
I saw them in concert last night with Terry on guitar. Hung out with them after the show. Mike said they rarely play Universe anymore in a show so it was rare they did it last night. It was a treat to hear this song again and it was still perfect. Tye said they're re-recording this song with a symphony in Christmas this year with their new album.
@@ListenToReason88 I was asking about the new album, to see what your opinion on that one was and to see if you would return 11 years later. Never seen that happen before
@@Wikcan I'm sorry, I misread your comment. Apologies. I was in high school when Anthology came out, love it. The new album, you must be talking about always and forever. It's actually decent, yellow pages is a good song, but definitely has some whatever tracks in it. It's not the same as back then. Still love AAF.
@@ListenToReason88 I’m in high school now, anthology has to be my favourite album of all time if not closely behind Californication. Movies and orange appeal are both my most favourite songs though my favourite song changes a lot my albums stay
Well, I wrote that comment 11 years ago and he was cool when I met him, but after following him on FB for a few years he does seem to be a dick. What was your experience with him?
@@ctipple1981 i got to talking to him and he seemed genuine, telling me things like why he left the band both times and what he regrets (asking terry to return to the band) and said that dryden and terry act like children so no longer want to talk to them however he still talks to mike. they still ask him to play with them even though they got a new bassist and he would probably only join again if joe hill would and terry would leave. he has a project with joe but i forgot the name
