Here's the block in process of my latest alien bust as well as some secondary forms building during the second half of the video. It's sped up x2.4 times.
I didn't search too much for the design so it came about relatively fast. Just followed the armature shape and tryied not to make many changes ..

I would love to see how you cast and mold these creature's. also how you attach the mechanism to the silicone.

I've not really worked with oil based clay, can it be fired? I've used air dry, which I don't like. Currently trying to use sculpey, but it's hard to get details, shrinking, burnt edges, etc...

It can't be fired . It's a n oil based clay (professional grade plasteline) that stays pliable. It doesn't dry. I make molds of the sculptures and cast them in resin , silicone etc .

I don't know where my mind is, haha I should have figured since it's oil it can't be baked. That is really awesome though, that it can be used over an over. Thanks for the feedback.
