I think the main question for who wants to buy this game - Big Box or Edition X? In Edition X there are no problems with the additional playing board, but there is no support for 5-6 players. And it is not entirely clear whether the dimensions of the playing board are different for these versions or not. Including, it’s not entirely clear what other components are missing in Edition X compared to the Big Box.
Hi there! Personally, I think Edition X came with a little bit more components than Big Box (like promos etc.). However, I prefer to buy Big Box cos it came with the 5 and 6 players components and I love more the art cover than Edition X. I know, I know... this is irrelevant, but it is what it is, right? hahah :D
@@supremobg Thank you for your detailed opinion! It is certainly valuable and interesting. After much deliberation, I decided to take Edition X. The price was about the same. But I was confused by the broken dimensions of the outer belt in the big box version. Support for 5-6 players is certainly a plus, but experienced players said that a game with 5-6 players can become painfully long, since it is almost impossible to think through your moves in advance. As a last resort, you can buy a set of colored cubes for this. :) And in the rules of Edition X there is a mention of 5-6 players. It is quite possible that they will release add-ons for this version.
@@MrMikhail Oh yeah! If I were you I certainly prefer the Edition X version. The price is more affordable and it cames with more content, but in my case the nostalgic feeling regarding the art cover it was decisive to choose the Big Box hahah I know that sounds a little bit nonsense of my part, but one of my first modern board games was Aline Frontiers 1st Edition and I really love that art cover :D Have fun with the Edition X and thanks for your comment. And also, please consider it subscribe in my channel :) Cheers!
