After Samuel's sacrifice it's off to talk to APOLLO and find out why the androids are even more murderous. Unfortunately, the androids have worked out a way to stop all of my tricks. White text - Me/Ripley Orange text - Androids
1:30 makes you get rid of all your weapons, but let's you keep all of your dangerous explosives and improvised devices made of metal and tech... Future security scanners people, JK I thank the heavens they let me keep the pipebombs and emp.
Apex_ Downside of a 'smart' security : it recognise and prevent you from keeping your manufactured weapons, but it fails to do the same for the ones you jury-rigged from actual tools and random scraps. Plus I don't see how it could detect the molotov.
I guess the software just looks for known configurations of firearms and not improvised explosives. Though I don't understand how the flame thrower fits into that category. Maybe Ripley just assumes that needs to go as well.
As someone who has a fear of mannequins, these raincoat occultists are giving me the creeps. And I wouldn't even be able to be stealthy because every time I run there would be a trail of shit and bricks behind me.
I am one with the raincoat, the raincoat is with me I am one with the raincoat, the raincoat is with me I am one with the raincoat, the raincoat is with me
I think that the Robots are creepier in some ways but that the brilliance of the Alien is far scarier. I mostly just kill the androids and get annoyed by them and their positivity whilst I generally still fear the Alien and its unpredictable thinking even if I have the flamethrower. You can be safe from the robots by climbing into vents or killing them. But you can never really kill the alien, nor can you go into any vent or any locker where the alien eventually won't find you. While playing this game I never felt safe. No matter where I was in the game, I always kept my tracker up incase the alien decided to join me spontaneously. I never felt that about the robots
@@Hello_there_obi i don't think you could shoot through it, these bastards are durable. when it comes to androids, firearm is good to stun them, but you'd lost most of your ammo to just kill one. the best aproach to this mission is just run, as there's no alien anyway...
@@hovnocuc4551 i mean that i like that you are forced to get rid of your guns because shooting through it is antithetical to the style of the game. Its so much better without guns. You have to either be careful or get creative. On nightmare its really tough and i love that.
Man, I have so much to say after watching this episode. The subtitles, commentary, and sound effects are so well timed to perfection. I have to go now but things just never work out for you in this game. Sorry about the guns though. I don't know how you can manage without them. Oh well, I have to leave now but I'll be back to say my full piece if this isn't enough...................................................... Edit: 23 hours later: It all went downhill from 4:16s go down. That part with the "Oh rubber.... sh@#" got me good and was the beginning but I have to ask about your weapons. What really happens to the revolver, shotgun, and flamethrower? The game can't make you lose those.... Everyone was pondering this until that android just walked out of a door literally out of nowhere at 4:27 and your sound effect for that won the gameplay for me there. I mean, there were some classic moments before in your previous episodes but these are some golden ones as they mask the sense of loss and depression amidst a sense of need and want when you lose your weapons at the beginning. Also, from 4:35- 4:45s was ultimate. It was then and at that exact moment you knew you were early French toast as all your remaining weapons and even your mightiest one in the pipe bomb, as seen in the previous episode when you blasted the androids so that you could leave the vent in peace, failed to take out this set of androids who I realised were wearing raincoats. The game just had to do that as I realised the stun baton becomes relatively useless from now omwards....... I'm now starting to recognise why Agent Ripley or Amanda curses a lot throughout the game aside from the fact that her mother is missing for an extremely long time and she probably has inner depression rooted in her so.... well....... take the luck you get.......................................................
19:30 The tracker made noise and that Raincoat android heard that when he is close to your hiding area. Don't use tracker if a enemy is near your hiding spot.
Yeah, these raincoat Joes are no "joek". On nightmare, they are freaking damage sponges and are much quicker to notice you. And yeah, EMP grenades are useless against them. When you pulled one out, I though "you're in for a surprise now". Yeah, I am an ass sometimes. :D
Omg, your editing in of sound effects and movie lines are hilaaaaarious! I'm too terrified to play this game myself, and even watching you is making me pee myself on the reg, so comic relief now and then is most welcome. xD
Good job, love the absence of rambling and screaming.....but honestly...you're supposed to use (put them in their slot) your components so as to make ROOM for the next ones to pick up but I keep seeing you remain idle and just wait there until you have all of them in order to craft. And then you have no room for the next ones...just....damn triggering lololol. Good job otherwise!
You've got Disco inferno for the aliens which is just brilliant... how about adding "Danger! High-voltage" when you zap the androids!!! P.s * loving the commentaries so funny*
Oh my gosh why does your character always fucking slam the door when she goes in the locker like if you’re hiding from a freaking killer robot then use your extra brain cell and hide quietly JEEZ
