For starters: You assume that Fear of God is something you can always see from the outside...which is completely unBiblical. (2). If you had wisdom from heaven (James 3:16), you wouldn't even say that comment. (3). It's arrogant to assume that "your personal outward demonstration" is "THE definition" of the Fear of God. Lastly, can you give me a single scripture we're explicitly breaking? Ironically, we do this BECAUSE we have a fear of God... indeed, he commanded us to invite "the world" into the church!!! (Read Luke 15 very slowly). I don't know why this creativity threatens you so much. But I hope you don't miss out on the greatest harvest season in history.
@@peterhaas1546 me thinks thee protesteth very much…and…how…is Luke 15 ‘commanding’ believers to invite unbelievers, those who hate God, into his church? Gods church is is saved, sanctified, regenerated, forgiven sinners, now living for Christ in his imputed righteousness exchanged for our sin when we come to the cross as repentent sinners needing a saviour. Thus is simply a carbon copy of the world, the world that is passing away. If you actually are a ‘pastor’, shepherding a flock, it would be advisable to learn to speak Biblically, making sense, and not word salad, with the intention of deflecting with smoke and mirrors and slight of hand. Sinners on their way to Gods wrath do nit need a night club band, motivational speech and a comedian, they need to be convicted of their sin and receive forgiveness from a good, righteous, Holy, merciful God. Luke 15 speaks of a prodigal, a prodigal is a wayward believer, not someone who hates God and not a false convert. And ‘For starters’ (your words -with hands on hips, head leaning forward?)…’You assume…’, seems you are assuming, I’m assuming… Man what matters is understanding who God is through God’s word, what does God say his word says, not how do we interpret it through our likes, dislikes, rights, current fashion, interest, or flavour if the culture. It’s God’s word and God’s church. He don’t need entertainers jumping around on stage under show lights ‘working’ for God. Singing is ONE form of our worship of God, It is God who tells us how we are to worship. Gods commands us to GO OUT to the lost and share the truth of the Gospel, that the world doesn’t want to hear. They don’t want to hear they are a sinner and if they do not repent of their sin, payment will be due on judgement day. God doesn’t command us tell people ‘God loves you just the way you are, don’t change, you can be a super star for God, just use the words ‘in Jesus’ name’ and you’ll be good. To be saved we must know law and Gospel. Now you can continue to prance around on the world’s stage or truly hunger and thirst for GOD’S righteousness. I pray that God would give you the boldness and courage and humility to do that brother.
