I really think someone in capcom switched the predator's names: The predator hunter abilities are more like those of a warrior, he's stronger, his weapon, the naginata is a samurai weapon and he has a dragon punch and a rolling attack like those of street fighter. The predator warrior is more agile and uses the traditional combi-stick spear, which is a hunting weapon. Greatly played as usual.
The Predator Hunter... Wow, he looks so cool with his weapon; great reach and better power than the Predator Warrior's spear. I'm not quite sure what it is, exactly; there's many different variations of it - it could be a halberd, a glaive, or a Japanese-styled naginata?... He does seem to act more like a warrior (focusing on close quarters, grounded combat) - whereas the Predator 'Warrior' acts more like a hunter; jumping around more - more tactical. An awesome weapon and a Capcom classic! Great playthrough.
Man, this is some of the best sprite artwork I've seen Capcom do, and this game is HOW OLD? Great stuff, only the music is a little TOO serious and gloomy.
In gameplay, which do you prefer between the two pred? I personally prefer Warrior. I know his standing attack isn't as long reach as Hunter, but his anti-air attack is incredibly useful with very little drawback due to long invincibility window (not as powerful as the Hunter's uppercut though), and his dive attack has a lot greater reach and power (and less opening).
