I salute you for all the work you put into this. This is the clearest transformation tutorial for this thing I've seen so far. Really appreciate you showing each step from both sides and at multiple angles. This must have been a pain in the ass, but the result is amazing!

I have this figure and I just keep it in robot mode. I've attempted to put it in vehicle mode, but I kept having parts snap. Mainly around the arm areas. For what I paid for this figure, I'm not impressed. Put in my pre order for the unique toys version though

This is probably personally one of my favorite megatron forms, the fact that he has copied Optimus and decided a truck was to be his next form is pretty cool. Just wish we saw more of it in dark of the moon since we rarely saw the truck form and Megatron himself really when he was truly behind the plan to revive sentinel and woke up shockwave (wish we saw more of shockwave too).

I recently got this guy and... he's for a certain type of people. It's less like messing with your typical transformer and more like sitting down to do a 10,000 piece puzzle. Which isn't a bad thing for me at least. While the plastic is fairly sturdy, I do recommend handling it like some sort of museum piece to ensure you don't break anything. Only buy this if you are patient and willing to baby it during the transformation. Once in either robot or vehicle mode it actually does hold together decently. (And yes it looks amazing)

Why is everyone talking bout the “shitty engineering” y’all want hyper realistic transform able toys, wtf do you expect the transformation process to be? Easy?? IMO it’s one if not the best transformers figurine that actually transforms, not talking bout threezero or prime1. There was a guy on RU-vid who did video of this transforming like megaton did in the movie and watching it it’s actually really close to the movie version, “weird”, hard engineering but it’s amazing.

Okay, I blame 2 things for this over complicated travesty. 1, overthinking, and 2, that needless interior! They could have stored a clever trick in that space to mak the transformation not only easier, but more intuitive and definitely more enjoyable.

I do respect it when they pay attention to a high-fidelity vehicle mode (God I loved the Alternators line) but it never made a lot of sense to me on models where half the bots' guts are hanging out of the underside of the chassis. It passes the casual glance test beautifully, but what casual glancer is gonna care about that level of detail and what dedicated Transformers fan is gonna prefer it over a design improvement unless it's in line with the design standard of the rest of the piece?

This thing looks like an unbelievable pain in the ass slog of a chore to transform, and if I had one I probably would only transform him once. The thing is basically engineered to break, and turning him upside down in vehicle mode is frankly very disappointing. I hate when you make out the arms, head and torso like that.

If I remember correctly, Megatron was rather... beaten up when he had the vehicle form. So it's only natural it's a mess, because he WAS a mess. But that's just me

Congratulations on your patience! I believe that toys like this, however, further alienate Transformers buyers. transformations that are too long and complex, make me want to buy those of the Super7 or the R.E.D. that do not transform. sure, the final effect, the robot is amazing, but this transformation is too frustrating, in my opinion. the strength of the Transformers transforming, so it becomes a negative point. obviously this is my opinion. I joined.

One is having a complicated transformation. For masterpieces, a 3 step transformation is impossible. I get it. Not for kids. Is a masterpiece. Another thing is having an annoying transformation. Where pieces collide each other and so on. Transformation is as important as truck mode and robot mode if not a little bit more. 30 for the static modes and 40 for the transformation.

i had to drunk 3 glass of water watching this intricate engineered transformation... and funny how in 2 seconds these gigantic vehicles turn into these robots in movies.
