Michael Biehn is an underrated actor. He brings a physical dimension to all of his roles that really brings his characters to life. Stay frosty...

Alien and Aliens are 2 of the greatest films ever made. Sigourney Weaver an amazing actress and Ripley is a genuine female hero who commands the respect of both men and women.

For me personally, the best lines ever are: Hudson: "Hey Vasquez have you ever been mistaken for a man?" Vasquez: "No... Have you?"

Bill was always happy doing these panels for Aliens..good to see him enjoying this one too, it was the last one he did. RIP

This is truly an A-list of folks who created one of the greatest sci-fi action films of all time. The story, the acting, the pacing, and the alien FX are timeless. Aliens resides in the pantheon of cinema greatness.

No Vasquez, damn! She's awesome in the movie.

It’s seriously criminal that Michael Biehn didn’t become a bigger star. He oozed quality and class with his performances as Kyle Reese, Hicks and Lt Coffey. I would love it if James Cameron cast him for his Avatar sequels.

Bill’s line to Burke - ‘F***, he’s dead, you’re dog meat pal!’ cracks me everytime, every single time. 😂 Easily one of the finest cast ensemble in a masterpiece sci-fi action movie ever. Can’t wait for a sequel with this cast if at all possible.

Such a great reunion panel of one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Bill Paxton, Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen were my favorites in the cast; their characters really blended well together as a team.

Paul Reiser's performance as Burke is criminally underrated.

Also, I don't care about what anyone else says, as I totally agree with James Cameron's POV of Alien 3. Killing off Newt and Hicks was a cheap trick, a careless way to sidetrack the audience of all the investment they'd had in appreciating the family dynamic of those characters with Ripley in Aliens. It was terrible. Yes, I know: Aliens 3 was SUPPOSED to be bleak. Whatever. But in my opinion, it still ruins the character development and relationships of the sequel. The characters of Alien 3 were bland and unsympathetic in comparison to the marines and the little girl. You can always tell how mad Michael Biehn and Carrie Henn are when asked about it. Just listen to the DVD commentary of Aliens where they talk about it. Jim Cameron is very honest that he knows it disregards the investment of the audience and that he wouldn't have made the same decision as David Fincher.

So sad that less than a year later Bill Paxton would be dead. Hope he knew how goddamn awesome he was, every single time I see him in a film he's brilliant.

I saw this movie so many times and each time it's like the first time ! I will never be bored to watch this movie again and again. Bill Paxton rest in peace...😭😭

I remember seeing this in the theater during the summer of 1986 when I was 14. Jesus how time flies. Seeing Aliens in 86 then Predator summer of 87... two iconic sci fi films... it was a great time to be a teenager.

Bill lights up the stage...you can tell he's such a fun guy to be around. Damn RIP sir.

I think Paul Reiser did a brilliant job playing Burke. He is a bad/evil executive but he didn't go over the top, I found his character believable.

I share in Michael Biehn's frustration with Aliens 3. One of the best things about Aliens was the romantic relationship that had slowly but surely built up between Hicks and Ripley, which culiminated in the Director's Cut scene where they spoke each other's first names to each other just before she saves Newt from the Alien Queen. It was a very touching connection that the characters had, without being in your face. Aliens 3 just spat in the face of Hicks and Newt. Totally ridiculous. Aliens 3 had none of the cast chemistry or charisma that Aliens had.

Cameron says the scene where Bishop does the knife trick with Hudson’s hand was not sped up. Sorry, but it clearly is. You can see the slight but rapid movements of people in the background on the mid-shot of everyone!

One of my all time favorite sci-fi movies. Just can't believe it's been 30 years since I first saw it... Surely has to watch it again tonight:)

I'm concerned for Michael Biehn. Don't want to speculate on what may be going on with him or his health but he doesn't look good. His complexion is very pale. Hopefully he can get whatever issues or health issues are seemingly affecting him under control, especially if he wants to be apart of Neil's "Alien" sequel. From his comments, he seems to browse/watch things on RU-vid from time to time. If you by chance read this Mike, I hope your health is o.k. and you seek help with whatever may be troubling you. Can I just say I adore how much everyone looks like they absolutely love to be there. I love this little moment at 43:19 where Gale looks at Sigourney and they have a little platonic kiss, this cast and crew clearly had and still have so much respect and love for each other

I'm so sad that I didn't had the chance to see live all these wonderful and lovable people that brought so much joy and entertainment in my younger years, due to the fact that almost nobody brings these people in the eastern Europe, at least where I'm from. It would've been such a great joy to see them and hear them. When Bill Paxton died, a part of my youth went along with him. God rest his soul!

I was at the con and definitely regret missing this panel. Thank You so much for posting it in its entirety. The movie is a true classic, and perhaps the greatest sequel of all time. It's actually easy to understand why. The writing and directing are terrific, and it has an amazing cast. It will continue to be enjoyed by audiences for the next 30+ years as well.

When Sigorny walked out, I really wanted Carrie Hen to scream at the top of her voice "Ripley!!!"

Two of the greatest/scariest films ever made, shocking tbh. I watched them far too young, thinking no problem Lol. They done it's job to scare the hell out of me. The terror, fear, tension, realism makes it pure horror. Both are groundbreaking masterpieces way ahead of it's time. The cast are faultless.

Hicks was such a chill, zen guy in all the craziness.

Fantastic crew and fantastic chemistry between. Now I get it how all characters in Aliens are believable. And that is part of James Cameroon talent - he had given roles to actors based on their real personality, character and behavior.

Bill always looks like he's having a blast at these, I love it. Also, really sad to hear what sounded like a promising Aliens 5 go down the tubes. Now we'll literally never have a true Aliens sequel worthy of the characters.

I had a big, dumb grin on my face through this entire thing. But I wish Janette Goldstein was there. No other woman -- including Ripley -- has shit on Vasquez. .... some lackluster questions from the audience, though. And who the hell is proposing at a damn Aliens panel? This is romance?? I mean, I absolutely love the film, but c'mon.

Is there a rule against asking interesting questions at these panels?

Micheal Biehn and Bill Paxton, youre my heroes. I think I'm as silly as Bill and as drunk as Mike. Rest in peace Bill, and I hope I get to tell Micheal Biehn how much he helped me be a tough guy, when stuff got tough.

I think it’s the greatest film ever made. My reasons. The story is perfect, you can start watching the movie from any point and you’re hooked. It has a perfect blend of action, scares, effects and characters that you invest in. 1. Xenomorphs - the creatures themselves are fascinating, the less is more effect is on point. And the species don’t have stupid voices, weaponry, ridiculous abilities or aspirations to dominate the galaxy. Their lifecycle is scientifically plausible. They don’t hate humans or like humans. They are effectively some kind of parasitic insect, their sole motivation is propagation of the hive. A lifecycle as simple as an Ant, Wasp or Bee. Yet with an intelligence and drive to survive that’s barely understood by anybody who is aware of their existence and yet it is so simple and lacking in complexity. They probably do have genetic components that would benefit the human race, in the same way that Reptiles, Arachnids and and other invertebrates have venom that has uses in today’s medicine. 2. The casting and characters are played to perfection, believable, not OTT, this is best reflected in Hudson’s arc. From over the top, cocky arrogance to the realisation and magnitude of the threat. Ripley’s arc from PTSD, nervous, unarmed civilian to strong, level headed right hand-woman to Hicks. 3. The action isn’t focused on super sci-fi weaponry, it’s regular military grade weaponry, imbedded with a vision of what today’s weapons may adapt to in the future of space travel and marines. There is no excessive gore. It’s intelligent, well thought out scares, not cheap jump scares. Much of the fear is created from what they don’t have or know, rather than obnoxious graphic gore. Examples being the audience knowing the aliens capabilities because of Ridley Scott’s Alien and the marines not knowing and underestimating the threat. How few weapons are left after the APC’s destroyed. Watching the Sentry ammunition deplete. Hicks - next time they walk right up and knock. Ripley - yeah, but they don’t know that, they’re probably looking for other ways to get in, that’ll take them a while.’ Then there’s this gem of a scene Ripley - ‘whose laying these eggs?’ Bishop - ‘It must be something we haven’t seen yet.’ This sets us all up (audience and characters) with a nervous anticipation that there was something big in store for all of us, nobody knew when it was coming or what it was. 4. The script, cast and characters are simply brilliant, they gel and their acting is just fantastic. Cameron took an already fantastic story, protagonist and antagonist that was awesome and he gave us pure gold…AND it was a sequel, this in itself is just testament to James Cameron’s creativity and talent. When you’re a sequel you have to delicately handle existing characters (Ripley especially) was beloved to the fans of the first film, fans miss characters that didn’t make it, you have to introduce new characters and that is difficult because fans are set in their ways, he not only brought us new characters, but extremely likeable characters that we invested in, rooted for and cared about, all this and in a sequel with no cgi and it’s just a master class in film making and I’ll bet all these actors will think for the rest of their lives that they were part of something very, very special. I’m not a Hollywood fan or a movie buff, but there are the occasional films and franchises that get hold of me and Aliens has done just that since I first watched it in 1988. It is one film that I will always adore. This is pure fiction a story created between Dan O’Bannon, Ridley Scott, H R Giger, James Cameron, Walter Hill, Ronald Shusett and David Giler - they created one of the most anxiety, fear, adrenaline and fascinating stories in cinema history. Bravo Team Xenomorph XX121 🎉 👏
