i LOVE this game. I Did the whole extended campaign on my french channel 3 years ago (26 1 hour-ish episodes). I had sooo much fun with it. I even put in special sound effects with the actual rifle sounds from the movies when I rolled the dice plus the tracker sound when I flipped motion tracker cards. It was hell to edit, but the results was super thematic, you felt there with them. For the alien blips, I used the noise tokens from Nemesis. BTW, your doors are awesome ! May I ask where you got them ? Get ready, because when those motion tracker cards start comin', you're in for a stressful ride ! I hope Newt will cooperate and follow, otherwise it might be a freakin' challenge to grab her. Try to use Ripley if you can, she has the best chances to do this quickly. Ohh ! and useful info : don't forget your marines can take 1 action to try to barricade those pesky spawn points. It saved my butt quite a few times. Keep that in mind 😉
Yes, barricading spawn points will play a factor later for sure! I'm glad you had so much fun with this game. I'm really liking it. I got the doors from Etsy, from "The Artificers Forge". They came painted just at you see them. Super quick (1 week from order to delivery) Really like them a lot!
From what I understand, the armor being destroyed if you fail your defense roll and pull the wrong card simulates this. Also, in the big expansion if 1 player is playing the Aliens, there are Hazard Cards the Alien player can use that deal acid damage. Thanks for watching along!
