I wish this game had been in the gameplay style of Aliens: Fireteam Elite. I could never get into RTS as a genre, but at least it's fun to watch a player who knows what they're doing.
Whats up, my dude. I wanted to ask a question. Do you recommend Aliens:Fireteam Elite for solo offline play? I pretty much only play games offline with the ai bots, and wanted to ask if the Fireteam elite is worth it. Or is the game boring without other players online, and should I avoid it? Thanks in advance ☺
@VivaElRockGhostSurf I'd say it's far better with actual players because on higher difficulties the bots don't really help much. Plus they always have the same equipment, rather than choosing a class, which limits their versatility. I don't know how many active players there are since the last new content was last August, but since it's cross-platform compatible you might still be able to find a team.
47:28 This encounter with two xenomorph runners is scripted But that doesn't mean it's impossible to silently kill the runners while they are busy killing the cultists nearby, but you have to be quick about it. Because by the time the cultists are dead, they run towards your marine squad. With impeccable timing, you can avoid getting detected by the scripted event. This is the second scripted event for xenomorphs while exploring the map, the first one is on Dead Hills by second floor when you cross the bridge towards welded engineer room will cause two drones to spawn in and immediately put you in detected/hunt state, avoid that catwalk at all costs if you want aggressiveness low as possible
5:05 LMAO ive had that happen a few times! Mistake a bad-pathing squad member for an enemy. I hate how bad the pathing in this game is. Marines splitting up and running into an enemy. Or how you cant control when they fire or not. Though it would be pretty broken, i would be able to cheese with the sentry guns even more if the squad wouldnt open fire when sentry gun is doing an isolated kill.
Spoiler alert: Players will have to return here later on. Funny enough, it's suppose to be allowed to repair synths with level 6 Tecker. But apparently all you need is 1 repair tool since this is not working as intended. But hey, one free engineer coming up
I was watching to see how to get back to the basement since I left a datapad down there. Then I remembered the basement got blown to bits. Now I don't think I'll be able to get it, and its the last one in the game I didn't get. My sadness is immeasurable.
