You may not believe this but I had a friend that worked for the SPCA and a rabbit nearly killed him. He felt terrible that it was being put down. So he picked it up and stroked it said it would be okay. It wrapped its front legs around his arm bit him brought its back feet against his wrist ripped him down to the elbow. He wound up with over 200 stitches. Went down to the goddamn bone. Literally almost bled out. Split the entire wrist open. Told me quite truthfully that he hated rabbits from that day on. And found out that yeah that was a reason somebody wanted to have it put down. Yet a rabbit can dig through dry solid earth real fast. Turns out they can rip through human flesh even faster.😅 Now that aside I'm getting sick of these Mary Sue alien human combats.

I once saw a Jack Rabbit try to kill a squirrel. Someone left seeds on the ground at a hiking trail. A Jack Rabbit was jumping up and stomping down at a squirrel that would dart in and grab some seeds. At first I thought they were playing, until I realized the Jack Rabbit was enraged and wasn't playing around. He was trying his best to stomp on the squirrel and kill it.

A group of teachers at a friends cabin "Oh look at the squirrel in the bird feeder how cute." "Oh look at the little birds" "WHAT the squirrel just bit the head off of the bird." People often seem to forget that they are wild animals.

I had a bunny incident 3 weeks ago. Tripped over Caye Da Otha' Bunny and sprained my ankle. First I had to take her to the veterinary ER before going to the human ER for my own ankle.

I have thought of the risks from our flora and fona becoming invasive species; in the same way species do this when unintentionally brougjt from one contant to a other, or even beween the mainland and a near by island. Also, how might alien forna and fauna uni tentionally released upon earth become a threat to oir ecosystem?

Possibly, but one also has to ask, are the local flora and fauna toxic to any alien not evolved to live in the same environment? What would a random protein or enzyme interfere with in the biology of said invasive species? Many plants produce some kind of defense mechanism that also can double to attract an animal to eat a fruit and spreed the seed of the plant. What about hormones in the animals that are common and evolved to perform specific functions in the animals?

Humanity is quite the adaptive species. In a single year we went from quarantine to living with corona virus. We adapted and outgrown illnesses and even survived things that were death sentences. Pneumonia and dysentery used to be the things that would kill soldiers out at war at an alarming rate. But with the invention of water purification tablets and even basic Tylenol has resulted in death rates to drop. It was considered a death sentence to catch the flu!! Now it is a bother.

Fleas not rats and since rat flesh is like human flesh human fleas rode on rats that fed on human grain plus lived with us. Humans that spent time with horses were spared as the fleas don't like them. Leaving stable workers and aristocrats alive during the plague.

like how they are oh so cute and chill, both territorial and cooperative working in groups and solitary, how they scare away threats significantly bigger than them, a single cat even being able to react and scare 3 dogs at once, it's extreme aggressivity displayed in certain situations leading some veterinars to require equipment or be hesitant in dealing with them etc.

To bad they didn't get video's of humans doing picnics and feeding chip monks. Or humans with pet cats and domesticated wolves (dogs.) Or humans interacting with wild wolves, and other wild creatures. Humans riding and caring for horses many times a humans size and strength. Humans befriended by and befriending in turn wild animals. Humans who consider their world to be more a garden of Eden than a death world. Or the fact that bunnies are pets, but also food for humans and many other animals. To bad they didn't see humans coming to say "Oh Hi, great to meet you. So, want to discuss trade and joint research. Always nice to have good neighbors." ;)

This story irritated me a bit. You have an entire SpecOp team infiltrate your "most secure ship" and you have no clue they are even there until they want you to know. Nothing about that portion of the story was ever rationally discussed. It was presented as if the crew on the ship or even the council actually had a choice. Nice story, but that's about it.

I've watched many of these hosannas to be human pieces and are less than impressed. My common reaction is yawn.
