Aliens Very Hard MAME Arcade No Deaths 1-ALL

Oh the many times I died and broke from quarters playing this in the Arcade

Much as I loved this game, and still do, I laugh my fool head off at the "liberties" the game took with the movie; Ripley having a blonde bed-head, zombies, spiders, neon colored xenomorphs, Newt with a bunny. Or maybe that's just the Aliens fanboy in me talking....

I remember seeing this back in the ice rink and in the movie theater in Fairfax, Virginia when I was a little boy in the early 90s.

Never actually played this one before but it looks pretty fun. I like the parts when you get to fire from a vehicle. Very well played!

I love this game so much. It always has that nice 90s feel to it. When I was able to beat the game, I continued to learn more from it. The Queen can also die when shot enough times that she explodes and the remains get dragged to space, and the shot when the Queen is seen being shot out, changed to her pieces going out instead. Great game, though many liberties were taken, but a great game nevertheless!

Its 10x better than the original cut. They made Cameron cut a lot out of his film because they thought it was too long and now after all these years after the original came out and now being able to see the special edition I can really appreciate much more the vast world that Cameron created. My guess is they wanted to not show what happened to colony to leave it more ambiguous. Alien 3 was a major let down for us all but Fincher is a great director he got screwed over cuz of all script rewrites

I don't really use a arcade stick for gaming - sometimes I do. For my PC I usually use a keyboard but thanks for your comment! Its not impossible to reach no deaths in most games. The X-Men arcade game is easy no matter the version you play on although the US version is supposed to be more difficult according to some since Konami made changes to the gameplay although these weren't drastic changes so the game really is not hard.

you can gain extra life after 1st stage boss, but you need to cut 2 bar first (touched by mini alien). You will see 2 foods up and bottom. When seeing them, move slowly to take the 1st one on up area, then go back slowly to take the 2nd one at bottom area. This game can play endlessly, you can gain as much life as you can.

What can be challenging however is setting the difficulty to hardest because now at that level there is a timer which makes it harder to clear enemies in enough time to complete the levels. However there is a timer in pretty soldier sailor moon arcade and on extra hard difficulty setting that is way harder to complete than x-men.

Thanks. Its a Konami game and they were pretty big in the arcade scene back in the day - Aliens is an underrated gem but a bit on the easy side none the less enjoyable. There are better games for this genre though... Some of my favorite Konami arcade games are Super Contra, Salamander, Crime Fighters, TMNT, X-Men, Violent Storm, and Sexy Parodius.

Well Aliens arcade is not impossible to beat on one life. Every single tactic that I used can be replicated either on mame or in the real arcade. I'm not really sure why people think all no death runs of these older games on youtube are cheated. Aliens arcade has the exact same enemies spawning in the same spots every time you play so again a lot of games just require memorization and practice. I use the flame thrower b/c it is hands down the best weapon in the game.

Maybe. Your not the first to request me doing that game and I had a couple other requests from other people but never for a certain character. I have taken a sudden interest in other shmup games atm like Daioh and some others so it may take some time before I get around to doing Giga Wing. I have been pretty generous with punching out the requests and atm the backlog of them is quite full.

The arcade game that I played -actually multiple Alien games in more than one location -had this weird glitch (was it really a glitch?) that would cause you to lose one life when you cycled back around again to the start and you didn't die. To this day I don't know if it really was a glitch or something that Konami deliberately wrote into the code so that you couldn't play the game forever. It was annoying, but since I know how to trick the game into giving me an extra life by taking advantage of the multiple foods in one part of the game, I could always make up for it if I really wanted to. Anybody else who can go through the entire game without dying run into this?

I agree with alot of peope the special editions of aliens is drastically better then the theatrical. Riplely daughter death annoucment scene should not have been cut. You don't see how the colony got effected in the theatrical cut in the special edition they kind of show what happened. They show newts dad get impregnated thy don't show how it got the other people.

People are just flat out jealous of me for doing something as innocent as posting videos freely on youtube and apparently me being here is just making them look bad as gamers. sadly I don't have a social life outside this site when your not wanting to live life following the ways of a superior supernatural being its virtually impossible our very hard to have a good social life and find people that will like you. The last thing I want is people getting hurt because I do not think like how they want me to. I know one of those spammer Ramboraph and another user with autism but after he yelled at me for me asking him how to.

Besides, I think its pretty obvious to understand how I am able to apply my tactics in my videos without the need of annotations or post commentary most of the time. If you pay attention to the videos and even if you don't have expert knowledge of these games you should at least know what works.

If you find the last boss of Aliens to be difficult then just shoot it to death from a distance but if you do this it will take longer to kill it. Not sure why you find x-men to be hard as I found it to be very straight forward. There are plenty of people who have beat it on youtube without dieing so I'm not exactly sure why people need me to beat it. Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon is a beatemup and most beatemups to get good require you to get all enemies on one side and then deal with them.

I wonder if you can defeat Queen alien without throwing her into the outer space?

I have about less then 160 people I subbed 99.98% never get watched of either slow up loading times 2 hours our loner several times a day. Also people having trouble tolerating me because of my bad grammar and opinions and having a 20 hour job convert our longer plus sleeping 8 hour a day more our less is not helping either. You did beautiful job on this though.

I've watched some of cubex videos. Thats not a 1 man account though its a group of people that post cheated longplays on their channel.Not that that bothers me at all since their not lieing about it. Fact: If you want to learn about any game or how it plays go watch a pro play it, you can learn A LOT more then you can from someone demoing a game. Why watch a demo of someone spam dieing when you've just wasted all that time when you could of play tested the game yourself?

I love the James Cameron film Aliens. Too bad the movies went down hill with Alien 3.

I could be wrong of course but if they have any links of emulator movie files its more than likely there was no cheating involved or at least that is better proof than not having anything to show at all.

You probably watched a no death run of x-men from cubex channel or mrmaskaman. Those guys post cheated runs all the time. Cubex is an account that has a ton of players that make save stated runs of games. MrMaskaman does take advantage of the let's play fad as his let's plays are in Spanish and he save states his runs to try to make himself popular with his post commentary let's plays, but hes a failure. It is soo easy to post replay files but he won't do it, not even for one of his videos.

I know what you mean guy our girl. I had 48 subs at one point Now I am down 21 on this current channel I lost 5000 hits 3 years of videos and like 50 additional subscribers do to my dad being over protective. I stated in 2007 next to user like acid glow and cubex I am one of the oldest user still active on here and virtually no one now me my videos our bad. Off my mother being all virus cautious I can't install stuff to make them better.

maybe I'm wrong but this HARD playthrough doesn't seem to be HARD because You can kill the creatures with a single hit from machinegun....it looks like NORMAL difficulty to me...respecting all Your work done here of course.

Fact #2: The people that are popular is probably because they work their youtube accounts like its a full time job consistently uploading videos weekly, hell they probably don't take holidays off lol - well there goes the possibility of any of them being jewish.Anyway if its too good to be true it prob is.. accounts that have 100s of deathless runs are most likely fake just b/c there are not enough hours in the week to practice - have to work, eat, sleep, and have a social life.
