@@vrvoided yeah, the atmosphere of this Game was amazing, even Made you feel dreed on the sections where you play as the Unstopable monsters. Even some of the Predator missions were pretty tense

Aliens Vs Predator 2 from 2001 is still one my favorite games I've ever played. The MP was so much fun, the Alien morphed into a giant Queen when you got enough kills, the Predator was OP with his homing razor disc, and the marines had cool guns. I played around 2003 when I was in 10th grade.
DUUUUDE I used to play it CONSTANTLY for like 3 years around 2003 when I was in 3rd grade, loved the fast little pink alien and playing as the sniper marine, that siper rifle was so satisfying. I miss this game so much.
I like how they always have Alien listed as the last one in the campaign selection screen between the last two Avp games like it’s supposed to be the least important one when the Alien character is always the cause of almost everything that happens
@@jimpargon what difficulty was this on?! I can't believe you can just walk back and tail whip a predator and it does nothing when it gets close... 🤣🤦♂️
@@jimpargon finished watching it last night, honestly the last encounter with eisenberg was so fast i had no idea what happened? I saw you jump at a landing pad then it cut to him being in the hive... i didn't even see the empress lol was she behind him on the ship or something?
@@Feetism When you "kill' him it plays the cutscene to imply you took him alive back to the nest. As for the Empress I'm not sure if they had her or was trying to locate and kill her inside the hive.
Man i still remember being so satyisfied on the second misión when you finally have a full grown Xenomprth and sheddring everyone to pieces after having suffeered countless of deaths during the Chestburst part. I remember going "Now Is paybayck Time, fuckers!" Lol
You are a true Broodmate. I've seen so few people express that kind of finesse with the Alien campaign of this gem. I'm waiting for the remaster of this game that will probably never come... but I remain hopeful.
Staying on the menu with the Alien selected and waiting for the second mouth to come out was fun. The Predator would aim the laser, and the marine would just make weird faces.
@@jimpargon problem is that it's not really RIdley's fault, Fox just liked to mess things up and not letting their directors works properly. Otherwise Alien 3 would have been way different for example...
This game is under rated. Needs more fans as not many games alow you to play as the threat of a horror film. Tho obviously you aren't invincible and still need to play carefully but still feels cool.
I remember being 7 or 8 when I first played this, maybe a year after it came out. I played it on and off for damn near a decade, even after doom and half life 2 came out and revolutionized pc gaming. This game was og.
Still one of the finest games I've ever played. Damn shame you can hardly find it anywhere anymore and all the cracked versions have serious compatibility issues.
I always remember playing as the alien and lying upside duwn at the bottom of the stairs and the human walked right into my jaws, was just like a film scene.
Just played through my first of the three campaigns cause I saw how well choreographed all the cutscenes and cinematography were. Probably wouldn't have if not for your excellent recordings of the campaigns. Stunning how in many of these old games I'm visiting, they always seem to know how to do more with less compared to the modern market. I wish the modern industry didn't have such a caution-padded development pipeline that results in all the lukewarm and stunted passion titles we've gotten lately. Thanks Argon.
seems like this xenomorph And the one From AVP 2010 (specimen 6) are brothers, they both saved the entire hive. Quick Edit:i am not being serious this is a joke
AVP2 needs a remake in the same vein as the Dead Space / Resident Evil 4 remakes. I'm pretty sure they could do it provided it's in the hands of the right developer.
If we do not get a remaster or remake of this game (or the release of a game like this), then I sincerely hope that a good modder can retexture everything to look modern. This game is iconic
Okay, I’ve been replaying this game to test my graphics card, and I’ll say this. If this campaign had a 6th mission and the 1st games xeno movement mechanics, it would’ve been a 10/10. I mainly prefer the first game’s movement mainly because this play style is best when you can move fast at all times. Casual speed feels too slow and I feel too reliant on the leap attack to kill enemies quickly. Stealth also isn’t super preferable in these games since the ai’s ability to detect you is a little wonky. Speedy glass canon is the go to play style for the xeno here, only emphasizing that speed is generally better.
It is a hard fight, just attack and walk backwards using the tail whip attack and claws. It will take some practice so save before fight and keep at it.
i still prefer the 2010 AVP game , at least for the Alien campaign. i find this one a bit short and underwhelming. then again, i started with 2010's avp game so maybe i'm biased. Anyway, nice video !
I own the CDs and at the time of recording was playing on a Windows 7 PC. There were some cracked no - cd downloads on an AvP2 site back in 2016 but I have no idea which site it was or the name. I'd try looking around for that or ask someone on one of the AvP forums if they have a copy.
He is right here. After expedition One, his family transfered him into an android body. Big Trauma, deeply aggravated by the operation. That's why is so unstable and cowardly toward Xeno now. Poor bastard ... locked forever on a wall facing his worst nightmare...
