Aliexpress "300W" Solar Panel! Don’t Buy It Until You Watch This! 

I hink it's a 300 milliwatt panel. They just neglected to mention the "milli". LoL. But the bigger part of the story here is how you used Arduino Mega to do the measurement! A video with more details of how to do that would be cool.

I was impressed with the solar charge controller I received from the seller who sent me the flexible panels, it was a proper 100 A charge controller, the other seller with the framed solar panels sent me a junk cheap solar charge controller as well without a heat sink at the back and probably only 10A capacity with only 3 mosfets on the circuit board.

I purchased a similarly sized panel labeled 10 watts. It also had the same power/USB connector. I flashed it from shade to sun with a garden solar pump to test. The second time the panel saw direct sun the motor spun for half second. Testing proved something on the board died, I removed it, connected diodes to the leads and I at least have a working panel that actually pushes the 10w it was labeled for!>

I got 2 of those for 30nzd from temu. Theyre good for my camp site and I use them with a 9ah battery to charge phones lights and power banks. Nothing crazy but the 2 of them keep our phones running.

When you first measure, you put the power bank on top of the solar panel. This creates a large cut in the current, so can you write more accurate results again? I see this panel all the time. I'm curious.

I unfortunately already wasted my money on this before I found your video. 4 of these panels in series are barely enough to recharge the one 12v 7ah battery for my internet modem. I will test to see if it charges my laptop battery but it seems like a real gamble.

Consumption cannot be measured correctly with a bad battery. First you a small current, because the battery is sulfated. Only after a few hours does the current gradually start to rise and thus the consumption you measure. In order, the battery should have a voltage of 12.2 - 12.6V (fully charged).

First it was outrageous lithium battery capacities, like 100,000 mAh, and now they're doing it with solar panels. This is an outrageous scourge, and only education of the buyer will fix it. Note to buyers - *area doesn't lie!* You can expect a maximum of about 3W from a 12.5 x 12.5 cm cell.

You might get a little more power by using an MPPT charge controller but my experience with these cheap flexible Chinese solar panels is that they are all highly overrated in terms of power output.

Awareness without action is worthless. This is a call to action. It's far past the time the public speaks up/Acts out. The amount of false advertising on Internet stores is outrageous. Amazon, Ali Express, Walmart, etc., and all the other stores out there should be 100% responsible for posting false advertising. It's posted on their websites. I'm responsible for what I post on mine and believe me, you will be for whatever you post on yours. So are they! What are you doing about it that will hold them to their responsibility? Nothing. You can't do it alone. But it also can be done without you. Clearly everyone must see this and stop brushing off their responsibility in being involved. They are 100% aware of what's going on. It's going on on their websites. As long as you let them we will be ripped off. They've been doing it for a long time now. As you see all the other corporations out there are taking on their methods. They should be shut down. They should be facing charges and doing prison time. How much longer are you gonna let them Bring the world Down? How much longer will you leave large corporate criminal activities be the norm? Acceptable as everyday life. Wake up fools! don't procrastinate. Don't wait a day longer because right now, I cannot save you. I can't save myself. It only works in numbers. We are far past the point where change will be easy. We need the law we need the Congress, yes we need the Senate, we need Government officials. Those who are doing little or nothing about this now. They work for us. We the people. At least they're supposed to be. Make them. In their faces. That is where we all need to be. Demanding change. These stores should be boycotted altogether. Yes, if you're not part of the solution you are the problem. Too many of you have no clue. There are solutions to your problems. There are solutions to the problems of the world. You're not gonna solve them within the welfare system or Medicaid or Medicare or benefit programs necessary to those in need. The solution is all in huge corporations. The money they're collecting from unlawful activity, scams, etc. If it isn't unlawful there needs to be a law. Make it happen. The end is near. For who? You decide. You should look at the “fine print” they mean by 300w that you may expect 300wh total on normal sunny day.😂

i have 2 same panels and chargers, working well but need do first panel not have back diodes need add own box and diodes then can charge, and this PWM charger have totally worst need change better MPPL charger and then working well , i have condo palcony and i use all room lights and computer whit 2 panel, working well now and can use raspberry pi4 computer 24/7 and 9 hour ewening all room light good. panels charge battery i measure max 19V 8A good day. panel no problem this worst charger has problem and panel not have diodes. leak night battery empty if not have diodes.
