I used a No More Tangles ( remember that?) type spray detangler on a doll that had a rat’s nest for hair. It worked great! And Elijah is the sweetest little guy! I love to cuddle him while I watch tv. His name is Joey. I also have the 17” Maggi and her wavy blonde hair is so pretty. I call her Ivy. Tiny name for a tiny girl. Mary, love you haircut! My grays are short for the summer, too.

Thank you. She IS very cute! I think the waviness is what is troubling….I have a big doll (not quite as big as this one) and she has straight hair that I haven’t had a bit of trouble with. That being said….I still might have to get her!!😳🤗💜
I found 1 tbs of vinegar to 1.5 cups of water mix well in spray bottle mist their hair and lightly finger comb makes plastic hair way more manageable and softer. also gets rid of the strong plastic smell they have if used on limbs. My PG dolls had such a bad smell but after one wash they smelled so much better and the vinyl is way softer.
Good morning ladies. Oh! She's much much cuter than than the photos online. I really like her hair. I think she looks better with the trim too. I don't know why but so many dolls hair is just too long for their size or the age they're supposed to be & while others may like it......I see it & can't get past the whole doll looks "off" thing.
Yeah she’s in my cart too, adorbs. Suggestion. Put Pantene condition in her hair wet of courses,, leave it in few hours. Also dollar tree has a no more tangles that helps too.
Hello Kirsti and Mary I have this same exact doll from the same doll company and I just love her. My Alin’s hair isn’t frizzy at the ends but however I would suggest wetting her hair down with water and then styling it. It gives the hair moisture and a neat look to it as well. Also I am quite aggressive with brushing and combing her hair which I do love about her, do not be afraid to do her hair. I always have so much fun with doing her hair and it’s not bushy or frizzy.
Hi Mary and Kirsti, awe- Neveah is absolutely beautiful, her hair is amazing. The hair babbles definitely remind me of when I was a child. She looks like she’s all dressed up and ready to go out to play with the chickens 🐓 and collect any eggs 🥚 if there is any. I must admit that I’m quite nervous about styling some of my babes that have longer hair. In fact my dark skinned baby who has human hair I haven’t really touched except with my fingers. She still has the same two little pony tails that she came in and she always wears a bonnet to protect her hair- what am I like😂😂😂😂😂. Have a lovely time with Jonah. Lots of love Sue 🐓🐓🐓
Oh wow! Human hair! Actually I would think that THAT kind of hair would do quite well. 🤔 but I’ve never had a baby with real human hair. I love my new big girl! I miss wearing hair bobbles….and being a kid…..life flies by! Hugs!
Hi Sue!! Thank you for your always kind remarks. Yes, Neveah is surely a cutie pie! I don’t worry too much about my bigger babies longish hair…because I put their hair in braids or pig tails or a pony tail and then I don’t change their hair for a month or so, LOL. Neveah’s hair is/was very long. I think she is very pretty, but I will try to restrain myself….at least for a month or two! Stay well & keep watching! We love your positive outlook! 🥰🌻😊🤗💜
Secret to acrylic hair is take empty spray bottle add hot tap water and some suave professional sleek conditioner shake well. Put towel on doll spray hair with wet brand detangler brush . Trim scraggly ends. Then let air dry curls will set perfect. I've restored masterpiece doll wigs this way and other acrylic doll hair .
I love her. Julie at Country Cottage recommended Noodle and Boo leave in conditioner for the dolls. It really works. Expensive, but you can use it sparingly. Amazon.

Using a pick is perfect! Wanna share what I have learned, Spray her hair with water then use a spray leave in conditioner. And curl her hair with your fingers. A wide tooth comb is good too. Always start bottom to top. I have a OG (our generation) doll with long hair. I love brushing her hair and braiding it. Congrats to your new toddler baby girl Neveah! Also I love that you girls are finding more dolly people near by you guys! Yay!
Thanks! I DO have some leave in conditioner, but I don’t know if it’s a spray type. And yeah! It’s great to find friends close to home! But I love my far away friends too! 😍😘🥰
@@dollhappy2449 you're welcome! That might work too! Probably wet hands and get some of your conditioner, a thin coat and lightly add to damp dolly hair. Best of luck!
No problem! I buy them from Dolls by Sandie and I get the wispy ones. I love DBS, she has reasonable prices and her shipping isn’t expensive. AND the company has been very helpful to me for any questions I’ve had about dolls.
I have a next door neighbour who plays dollies with me, so lucky, wish u were my neighbour but I live in the South of France, sniff sniff. My neighbour is a professional knitter as well, she makes beautiful stuff for my doll. This is a lovely doll. Xoxo s
My girls sure have been on a buying spree for babies/toddlers! ~LOL~ It's like having Christmas every day! i bought No More Tangles from Amazon because i couldn't find any here in the Cols stores as they were all sold out, but i will warn you, the smell is overwhelming that almost made me sick. Haven't tried it on any dolls as of yet due to the smell. i will when i get up my nerve. i have the bottles sitting in my hall closet and happily the smell is gone. Your new doll is a cutie. i do have a question, how does one fix a doll so her head doesn't flop down all the time? i have a bigger doll that does it and it drives me crazy! When i adjust her head upward, then it flops backwards. Good grief! The hair cut looks so much better. i do the same thing as you did, Kirsti, with starting at the bottom and working up. Maybe someone in your church does hair that you could ask to cut your dolls hair? If i have repeated myself with my comment here, i do apologize! It's an old persons thing and i'm 'old'! LOL! Lol…we love u Darla Mae! You’re always so sweet and funny. Well, about her head lolling back and forth…..1. Make sure it’s not weighted…..I only weight my newborns heads since they’re meant to flop. If I have a bigger baby or toddler I only stuff it’s head. I add no extra weight to the head. 2. It will help greatly if u add some stuffing to her around her shoulders, chest, and back.

If you want to use scented detangler spray, I use sauve kids detangler spray and it is scented silly apple and it’s dermatologist approved and it’s so good to get tangles out and it smells so good and you can order it or get it at Walmart or target and I use a baby brush and comb on my reborn toddler Cayden hair because he has rooted hair and I don’t want to pull any of his hair out and but before I brush his hair I wash it and I use shampoo and body wash and it’s called hello bello and it’s dermatologist approved and it’s tear free and pH-balanced ans and it’s plant based and it’s ultra mild, and it’s scented apple blossom, it smells so good and delicious I would recommend using it for her hair in case you want her hair to be tangle free and nots free.
I did a video of her when I got mine. Named her Layotie ... It's Cherokee and means flower of the prairie which I thought fit her because she had a prairie look to her and my great grandparents were full blooded Cherokee. I use the dollar store detangle spray and my hair conditioner on her hair because her hair is identical to mine and it keeps her hair in such sweet curls. O I think she's so pretty. I hope you enjoy her like I do.

I just learned from watching another person's masterpiece doll video that the hole in the back of the head of the masterpiece dolls is because if you need to change the eyes or tighten up the neck joints that's how you do it

I ordered this same doll from temu so it’s not the original it’s from the factory BZ doll she will be here November 2-7 she looks big though and I’ve been told she wears 18 months and 2T and size 4 shoes

You’re right I suppose, but I must agree with my daughter…and we just LOVE so many of the dolls! Plus, my daughters hubby would kill her if she had hundreds being spent on one doll. Lol.And even though I’m accountable only to God & myself, I love looking at my sofa filled with bright and smiling doll babies…it brightens my day!! 🌻
