Hi Kristi and Mary, the girls are absolutely beautiful. I’m not surprised that they are a bit pouty after travelling like they did. I can see the ? bruising that your talking about on your little one Kristi however it doesn’t distract how beautiful she is. As for your June awake Mary I have heard about this happening before on reborn babies a few years ago. I’ve been trying to dig into my memory to remember what was recommended for it- so far nothing has surfaced 😲😲😲. If I remember I will let you know, - like Kirsty’s baby it doesn’t distract how beautiful just she is. From memory one had to use a particular substance and it was quite complicated as you had to put the stuff on and then leave the body part out in the sun to dry and keep repeating the process until the marks had gone. Hi Sue!! Yeah, I don’t really notice it anymore. I really love this big girl! She’s one of my favorites that’s for sure! My mom has gotten the ink off…..but it’s stripped the paint a bit, but it’s not too bad. She’s use to it and is fine with her now.
I read a lot of things and watched videos on ink and stain removal from vinyl dolls and the two products that are mentioned are either Remove-Zit or Oxy 10. I think the recommendation is to apply either product to the area and cover with plastic wrap and put the doll in sunshine. I think they say to cover the rest of the doll with a towel or blanket to protect it. Like you mentioned the process may have to be repeated.

@@jenniferedwards66 Thank you, Jennifer! I did use some “pimple preventing” cream on her (also a Magic Eraser.) I don’t know what did the trick, but the spots are gone now. 😃🥰💜
Dab ink spot with 10% benzoyl peroxide then set doll in direct sunlight for as long possible,next day wipe clean gently with damp water cloth,you may have to do this a couple of times. I have this problem sometimes when I put my babies in dark clothing accidentally. But it works without damaging the paint on my amazon babies
Love the Charlotte sculpt, she has been next on my list! I love how you upgrade your dolls, changing the eyes and re-weighting them makes a world of difference! You both are going for really adorable and larger babies, which I like. I have the June 7mo awake, Maddie, Kody Bear, and the Adele (Ping Lau), the larger babies are much more fun to dress and pose for photos! The blue tone near her eyes/nose I think it’s a paint tone they did to give the skin more depth. Reborn artist add blue and purple tones in those areas of the face, hands and feet for more depth and realism, like the veining and mottling. Enjoy your new dollies and take care ladies! ❤️

Yeah, my mom used some acne cream removal and it worked….it kinda stripped the paint at first, but it’s weird, it’s as if it’s fixing itself. Or we are just getting use to it.

Thanks Connie! She tried the magic eraser. She also tried acne cream but that took some of the paint off. She still doesn’t look too bad tho. We will most likely do a vid on her in the near future.
Kirstie, I went back to the beginning after you noticed the blue at the top of the nose. It is noticeable when you opened her but maybe the change in lighting made it more noticeable. As a new reborn artist I can say many artists and art teachers say to use blue in that area. I'd say that whoever painted your doll just used a little too much and didn't know how to tone it down afterwards.

Sweet chunky babies!! Looks like the "bruising" is from too much blue undertone paint. I add a little blue paint in that area and around the temples and mouth on my reborns. Looks like they just added a bit too much. She still looks adorable! We don't support Disney anymore either! And I still have little ones who've never been to Disneyland! Oh well!! Not with our hard earned $$ Luv ya ladies, too!❤️

@@dollhappy2449 You're welcome. Yeah, I would definitely take Jo Torv's great advice!😊 You could also try dabbing a little orange paint before adding the varnish. I'm new to this artform of painting Reborns and still learning, but I have a lot of experience mixing paints and orange neutralizes blue because it's the opposite. I'm just not sure how it will sit on top of the factory varnish. I've painted on top of several of my daughter's Amazon "reborns" with acrylic paint after washing the vinyl first, though. They have held up pretty well over the last year plus, and she handles and plays with them a lot!
I’m going to order the Charlotte from Ali it’s great to see them here in person I’ll definitely start changing out the eyes. Try a little bit of nail varnish remover dab it off. Hope it comes off. These dolls are beautiful. Could be yours is wearing more blue it’s reflecting on the area xx

Fortunately it isn’t as pronounced as it was earlier…either that or I am (a) getting used to it 😬or (b) the acne crème I originally tried must have helped. I have noticed that some of my Aliexpress dolls have more blue tint painted on their nose bridge than others. All the dolls are actually hand painted in China and some just paint a little more blue than others. Lots of children have that blue tint in that area so it’s a natural look

Ive just ordered a Charlotte on there with rooted blonde hair. Did you get the ink of? I thought maybe a magic sponge? I know you can use hairspray on a leather sofa to remove ink. Not sure if it would work on vinyl xx

Well, as I always say, we are the keeper of our own peace. If these cheaper dolls bother you, you should stay away from these kinds of videos because watching them will not bring peace and happiness to your life.
@@dollhappy2449 Well, you’re free to do as you wish but posting these videos encourages others to buy illegal sculpts as well. The well known doll sculptor, Ping Lau, spends hours upon hours reporting the thefts of her sculpts. It’s a serious problem. Stealing is wrong.

In all seriousness, we don’t like stealing either, but we aren’t the ones stealing these sculpts. I know you will say we are encouraging it, and I know that may be true…..but we just think these dolls are so cute and we honestly do not have the hundreds (or sometimes thousands) of dollars to buy one made by an artist. These dolls are for the poorer people who want to experience the sweetness of them.
