Hello Barbara. It is a good tip with the thin foam. Just like the thin mousemat I use under cardstock gets a good impression from stamps. I use a metal shim but the foam likely gives more even pressure than a shim where the plates have been bent a bit. I love your excitement! It makes my day to watch your hauls. 😊😊
Barbara!!! How fun, again!! Loved your hack, I’ve never seen anyone do that!! That camera was so good!! But the pattern you cut next was my fave!! Thanks so much for sharing, I’m always smiling or laughing, you’re just so cute!!❤
I had so many things that may help you, I thought I'd leave another comment. Its best to put your dies closer on the sides and not in the center. Also, put your die at a angle, so it doesn't hit your roller all at once. Those are some things that someone taught me, just thought I'd share with you.
You don't have to actually cut through that foam. You can just add it to the very top. All your looking for is that extra pressure. You can also just use a couple pieces of cardstock or a few pieces of typing paper. No need to cut through the foam.
just a little tip here, you need to snip the tag dies apart and place them at the edges of your sizzix at angles so you have The 6 tag dies that was intended, alway's cut the tiny little connectors off 😉
