That's pretty cool. The only problem with those is once the keyboard is mapped for a software, its useless for other softwares unless remap it. The remapping software is not intuitive. The solution could be lua coding language. I recently posted a video guideline about it to turn any keyboard or numpad into a macro keyboard which can be used with any software and customise software shortcuts as needed.
Yeah, I bought 2 of the 12 keys, double knobs from AliExpress, and the knobs are the only things that don't work. Which was disappointing, because I wanted an easier way to control my volume and video editing. But at least the keys work... For the most part. 😅
you can change the knobs to one of your numpad keys or a combination like shift+f10/11 keys (assuming you don't use the keys your re-assigning) then you have to assign the hotkeys in whatever audio player your using - in foobar2000 its under global hotkeys. (its function is called volume up, and volume down - you can also assign "next, previous, and play/stop" to other keys) basically it asks you for the input you want to assign the function too, and you just turn the knob in whatever direction you want volume up and down to be. since you have two knobs, you can use one for your audio player (foobar/spotify), and the second one you'd have to go into OBS or your video editor and assign the hotkeys in there. (mic volume, stream volume, whatever) *random nick has a video that explains what things do in the weird software tho*
Thanks for the info! Been looking around at all the options to use with my graphics tablet. Do you happen to know if it allows multi-key commands? Like if you bind one to "Ctrl" can you use it in combination with others?

How is it for reconnection time? Wanting one for my surface for drawing but don't want a keyboard cable attached so i can sit on the couch or what ever.
@@Liam-ir6xm Almost instant in my case. It takes longer if you completely turn it off and on again which is normal. I've tested it with MacOS and Windows 11 as well.
thank you! i have a question: can we assign two different action based on "key pressed" AND knob rotating? i.e. key1+clockwise = ctrl+S, key1+counterclockwise=CTRL+D
Autohotkey software can do this. It's free and easy to use. Ignore all other software. Autohotkey does everything you can think of. Do a million things with only 3 keyboard keys if you do it like this. ::yyyyy:: what I just showed is y being pressed 5 times. Press space bar after the 5 press, it will execute the macro you made. This way is perfect for macro devices with only 3 or 4 keys on them. So if you did ::yyy:: press y 3 times and space bar right after. Another macro. Or do it like but don't have many options with 3 keys. g & c:: do something. c & g:: do something. c & 1:: do something. If you have full keyboard this method is no problem but with mini macros with only 3 or 4 keys I would stick to this method ::9999:: do something space bar after the fourth 9
You cant do that. But if you buy theversion with 2 knobs, you can assign this actions at the second knob... and it has 3 layers so you can assign 3 diferent commands for each knob
Yes, you need the software and it needs to be running. On my PC (win 10) that programming software was not working at all (hangs up on download), on my laptop with the same Win 10 Version it works.
these things are so good for world of warcraft lol I hate looking at a grid of macros and symbols when im panic pulling. (HIT THE SURPRISED PIKACHU BUTTON FOR BUBBLE!)
Managed to do all this on a pc, connected to Mac and it's recognised in system settings BUT only the wheel works. Anybody have any clues for me? Thanks
Been wondering myself! Especially was wondering if you can program the knob to scroll up and down midi scenes? Did you find out? For the life of me I can't seem to find out if it works
It´s great and it works wonderful... BUT... as soon as I restart the pc the programming of the keys is gone. I found the right software and downloaded the macros to the board. Totally not usable... any help?
Cool video.... so the software will it allow you to program a software lauch. Like key 1 opens spotify and Key 2 opens Outlook? And secondly now we are working from home.... would it be possible to program a mute button?
If you need a "Mute", look for MICSWITCH or MICMUTE. I prefer MICSWITCH as it mutes any mic regardless of device ID. And that "key" is assigned to this bluetooth board. Or if you have POWERTOYS, look for "run as administrator" and then way down there are buttons to shut down camara and/or microphone

on windows, can i use this to map the F13-F24 keys instead? im planning to assign one F-key for each and then start my shortcuts from there. any ideas? thanks!

The software that exists to program this particular keyboard is quite limited and does not allow you to map F13-F24, but I think this is a false issue because you can use (for example) the key combination ++ ( rarely used key combination). If you want to map the F13-F24, I can point you to at least one keyboard that allows you to do this (which I bought yesterday); look on aliexpress for "Mini Macro Keyboard 9 keys 3 buttons" (the software for this is more robust). Did you find a way? I've not had any luck yet its connected under bt in windows on mine as ch57x device but it doesn't do anything if I unplug the cable👎👎
