i just love how Water's movements are smooth and liquidy, and Fire's movements are jerky and fast

People be praising Pixar's Elemental trailer like "What a unique concept, what a fresh idea!" Meanwhile, this masterpiece has been sitting here for 11 years! No way Pixar didn't take inspiration from this. I really hope Alight's animator ended up going places in the industry. Still is a tearjerker.

The way you portrayed their elements through their actions/personalities… water was fluid and calm, slower and more careful. Fire was fast, sharp, energetic. Impulsive, “fiery” in temper (he got angry when his friend was hurt; strong and filled with passion. And they all came together in the form of one united being. The art is incredible (clean and satisfying), and the story, mixed with the music, ring up many emotions… thank you for this piece of work! But can I ask, what is the music? I love it

When I was little, I didn’t understand or even try to understand what this could’ve meant. Yes I cried, but not because of any hidden messages. Now I wonder what it means. There are two hidden message I have concluded to. The first one is that opposites don’t always have to stay apart. As shown by what the fire and water did together, they created a new living form together. It could show what it means to work and coexist with each other. The second is much more elaborate. Basically, we shouldn’t ever stereotype people or even things, such as water and fire. Water, which is viewed as timid and graceful in this animation, can cause destruction, such as the sprite’s death ended up being the indirect cause of the towers toppling. Meanwhile the element of fire is often viewed as dangerous and deadly, but as seen here, it may destroy, but it also rebuilds and creates new life. Basically, not all good things are entirely good, but not all bad things are entirely bad either.

Just saw some girl claiming this as her sisters animation on tiktok. It made me mad cause I've loved this animation for many years.

Finally i found this. Around 7 or 6, i remember wathing this video,at that age i didnt know about much on youtube, and i clicked on random videos and i just try and remember the names or write the title on a paper to rewatch it. This makes me cry just because i remember my childhood past. TwT

Every couple years I remember this exists but I always forget the title and have to dig around the internet until I find it, totally worth it.

..When the world was made, water and fire became friends although they were not compatible. They created a good balance. But.. man's advancements (buidlings and technology) destroyed water.. like we are doing now.. and then, the fire (who felt sad for losing the friend) took revenge from the world/mankind... and after all the destructions... water returned back and turned the artificial man/too many advancements back to human/normal.

I remember watching this years ago. It still has the same effect on me as it did then. This old animation is what made me want to go into art and music. I am now very happy about what I do. I thank whoever who created this masterpiece. It will forever be my favorite animation.

Ah... These video breaks my heart..... Its been 4 or 3 years since I've watched this.....kind of the time where when I was still a dumb child......now being a teenager, its kinda hard now..... Seeing this again brings back a lot of memories.. I'm grateful that this channel still stands till today.

This was one of the first animations I ever watched on RU-vid. I ended up looking for it like e or four years later, just remembering it as ‘that cute water and fire defeat robot video’. I ended up fining it and it is still one of my favorite animations! Love it!

This was one of the first animations I watched when I was a kid, it’s so cool to see it’s just as awesome as it was so many years ago!

I remember watching this as a young-un! Absolutely beautiful. I aspire to make animations as fluid as this, that'll reach and inspire so many people. The clever charcater design, movements, everything makes me chuckle! Such a beautifully done piece of animation.

After all these years, it's now in my recommendation and I can watch it again

So this elemental flame guy meets this elemental water girl (I assume it's a girl) and he barely knows her for ten seconds and then she gets crushed and dies (how does water 'die' from being squished? lol) and the flame guy goes all YOLO rampage mode and starts senselessly destroying the random buildings that fell out of the sky and then he goes in into the ground and re-assimilates as a human being? Okay.

This is so sad yet an amazing animation

Let’s analyse this from the process of humanity. Water exists since billions of years ago not long after when Earth was created, after humanity appeared, fire is used as an every day essential. And somehow people used it not only as a tool, but a weapon, creating wars and deaths. Of course, now people waste, and soon water will be used up (death of aqua) the problems people caused will effect in unbalance in ecosystem, thus resulting in facing extinction from natural disasters (flare raging and tearing down the castle) the last part tells us if we stop harming the nature and give ourselves a second chance, the world will be okay again. This is just my opinion, feel free if you had different answers.

I remember when I saw this as a ten year old with very very little experience with the internet and was absolutely enthralled by it, yet also scared of it at the same time (machine growing flesh was something 10 year old me did not like) lol. I think about this animation from time to time and it brings back good memories.
