In the alip_ba_ta fingerstyle technique, usually use the top 3 strings for the bass line and the bottom 3 strings for melody/vocal/rhythm .. The 3 string bass line usually adjusts the tone of the 3 bottom melody strings.. usually alip in composing a song is to look for the vocal line first then the bass line.. after that just modify it
