Taffa is one of the nicest guys ever, I saw him in Asda with about five of his kids and yet he was still stopping chatting to Liverpool fans and having photos with them despite looking after his own. He’s got 17 kids in total!

No, thank you. He's one of the best I've ever seen in so many aspects; his positioning, reactions, he parries the ball to safety, he turns defence into awesome attack in a split second AND he catches the ball cleanly like no other (must be that Brazilian triangle technique :) He is a rock!

I could not believe it when Taffarel joined Liverpool. He was my favourite goalkeeper growing up before Ali. To see them both at Liverpool is amazing. I hope Taffarel stays under the new manager.

during primary/secondary school back in the 80s/90s, i’ve played as a keeper half of the time. but due to my height at that time (im a short dude, but now im 160cm) i switched positions to a winger due to my speed. then when i went to Australia to study, i played as a keeper again for my school n being an Asian, my coach has no confidence with me at first (as Aussies are tall). then i told him that my idol n inspirations was Jorge Campos, the shortest pro keeper in the world back in the day n considered as one of the best. if he can, so can i… i end up playing as a winger still but at the same time as a backup keeper aswell..😅😂 … i love goalkeepers of every eras…each one of them are special n unique, n some are crazy too !!

It really shows how bad British goalkeeping coaching is that Kellegher under Taff has shot up in quality and is now a top keeper in his own right. It is one weakness in English football, bad coaching means England never have top quality keepers.
