I love how he goes from all shy and awkward to when you confess he’s suddenly bold and dorky but then immediately becomes awkward until you bolster his confidence again. Too cute.
I've met a lot. I still have a lot of friends and even singles, that are like Alistair. The experience wouldn't be the same for language differences, but they are as sweet as sugar. So good to listen to them.

My female city Elf is reeling from a ruin wedding and tells him kissing was too soon.She decides to romance him later in the game only to lose him to Anora in order to unite Ferelden against the blight... After the victory whoop de do at the castle she and Leliana leaves to travel the world and to mend her broken heart and spirit.. She never marries or nor did she returned to the Grays and 29 years later she enters the deep roads to answer her calling..So much for feel good endings.
@@rurza just finished playing and I started out with zevran and ended with Alistair again😂🤦♀️ he swoops in at the last minute and I'm done. What's his saying oh yeah. Swooping is bad. Only if it's not him doing the swooping. 😂
Yes, and I can never bring myself to leave him in the Fade in DAI. I kept him a Warden and the way he talks about a romanced female Warden in DAI is so sweet. I leave my mage Hawke. I played her as someone who is willing to do anything to save others, but Varric's reaction did break my heart. I hope after Solas seemingly killed Flemeth in DAI that somehow she helps my Hawke escape the Fade in DA4.
When Leliana was like having feelings for me and telling me her feelings, I just...I don't know...I love both Leliana and Alistair. But, I can't help it but love Alistair a lot. He's like this ideal man for me. He has this aura that makes me want him more! I'll do anything for Alistair.
I always feel so bonded to the characters when I play this game, the first time I played it I cried at the end because I chose to make the sacrifice. I felt like I left my friends behind. If a game can inspire that much emotion then by god it's a fantastic game indeed!
Im replaying the game and even though I know all the cutscenes Im still doing the fan girl high pitched noises whenever they happen😂 Love Alistair, always try to romance the others just to try out, but I just cant
that's so me... also, in my fifth or sixth gameplay I tried to make only evil choices, just to see how it affects the game. but when Alistair approached me and shouted at me, I was like "no way, I can't handle this..." and never returned to this save file 😂
One time I was romancing Zevran and Alistair at the same time and he had the jealous talk. And this was after I had been sleeping with Alistair for half the game and just swooning over him. He asked me who I choose and I said him. THEN he asked me "So do you have feelings for me?" Well if I didn't by this point i'd be a pretty horrible person wouldn't I? Ahhh *facepalm* Alistair is such a dummy sometimes but he's so cute
You know what makes me reeeeeal happy? Seeing all the love for this game still very mucg alive even after nearly 3 years since it was first out. Warms the heart *sniffs*
Honestly there are more girl gamers than in past times, and sometimes I wonder why... (I am a girl gamer btw) But most of the time I like to hack away at monsters and men, and find handsome ass people like Alistair... :3 (Random rant of the day?)
I don't feel that I'm glad he set bar high it shows tenderness of his loving nature to be Abel nurture the relationship with his True Love anyone can love someone it's only when you nurture that love for that person when it becomes something much deeper and to be Abel to look at that person and say your enough for me your it for me and all you can do is see that person and no one else and still have that same a spark as did when you first saw them and wen you first fell in love with them that kinde of love is rare and beautiful
This is 8 years old. I am replaying Origins and just last night I went through that line when I’m trying to romance Zevran but Alistair is so precious! His lil “aw and I was gonna name one of my children after you! The grumpy one.”
Yes, it's Polish. I'm playing with Polish subtitles because I'm Polish, but because of Alistair Romance Mod (from Bioware Social) when I speak with Alistair most of subtitles are English but sometimes Polish that's why you can see during my clips some Polish subs ;)

@CReepyVERY well DwBh is a replacer. So you have to unzip it using WinRar and choose which hairstyle from Dragon Age you hate and then replace it (there is an instruction inside BwBh folder). In my opinion instruction is really clear and it's easy but id you want to you can download from Dragon nexus "More hairstyles" mod and this is a mod you only unzip and paste into override folder :) And make sure you've got only one chargenmorph.xml file in your whole mod folders!
that's true - most games *are* marketed towards a male audience *shrugs* so yes - I do in a way see why/how it's not as popular for women to play games... still don't understand why some think it's "wrong" (not aiming this at you, by the way, but I do see this a lot on the internet) - if other people can spend their free time doing things I personally don't find even remotely interesting, than I should be able to do what I enjoy, too - without people saying it's weird or unacceptable, ehh :)
Because they don't go about advertising about it. I have friends that have known me for years and they still don't know that I play video games. I don't know how to describe it. It's kinda... I don't know. Most girls I know who play games are usually the quiet, unpopular ones.
B-but, Alistair, we could have gone for a Warden-Alistair-Leliana-Zevran-Isabela fivesome in the Pearl! You ruined it! ...I really loved in DA2 when I saw King Alistair and Isabela made a reference to not being able to have him for the summer any more (as he's married and king) :D yeah, I went there in DAO...
I'm sorry, but I'm a girl and I play pretty manly video games. They range anywhere from dragon age to COD, and I'm accepted just fine. My guy friends find it pretty awesome and my female friends don't really mind either way.

I still play this game ! 6 time im about to finish it .. I never did a woman tho so maybe I'll go for it a 7th time :)) I love all the arguing between Alistair and Morrigan ! Can't wait until the 3rd game release :D

Lol I can’t stand these love triangles. The part where you say, ‘you leave me no choice. I choose you’ and Alistair saying he’s a lucky man, it’s just cringy, because the way the warden said it, it doesn’t sound like she wanted to choose him, and would rather have remained with Leliana
... half my female friends are into video games, and they talk about playing them... and they have perfectly normal social lives...I like games too, I've been playing them since I was 9 or 10... dunno why everyone seems to think it's so strange for girls/women to like video games... I sure don't prefer shopping and I couldn't care less about being "socially acceptable", lol
I beg to differ. I am female, and I know plenty of girls who play videogames. In fact, BioWare's games have the smallest female-to-male ratio, especially with games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. More men still play than girls, yes, but girls do play videogames.
You sound very much in the dark ages. There are lots of girls who play video games and not only nerds play them any more either. Technology has become mainstream so just about every kid I know plays video games. I know plenty of other girls who game besides myself and we're not all tom boys either. You're trying to stereotype and stereotypes NEVER work. O, and while I do love Tetris and the bubble shooter game (Bust-A-Move) I also love rpgs. Dragon Age is one of my favorites...also Skyrim.

@LoganCloude My boyfriend reminds me a lot of Alistair...whenever I play DAO, I always want to go and hug him (or something more...). There ARE men like that out there, they're just not as...rambunctious as other guys. People need to look past the loud, overconfident men and go for the more sensitive, quieter ones, if that's what they want!
