Alistair Brownlee takes on one of the hardest ultra cycling gravel race, Badlands. 

I didn't know AB rode this event. But, why use those lightweight tubes? They are so fragile, it is no wonder he had those problems with loads of flats. Tubeless with good quality rubber tubes for backup would be a better solution imo. The overall results also show how strong the top-class riders are when up against olympic and world champion athletes like AB. Kudos to him for toeing the line. More of this please!

I wish that this had been an interview format. Someone like Alistair can't be expected to deliver a convincing account whilst reading a script. It's a great adventure terribly told!

Alistair is a sporting legend and from what I've seen a very nice guy. The videography is really good. His achievement is awesome. But in my opinion Scott have really underdelivered with Alistair's voiceover. The edit makes him sound like a ten year old reciting his day: 'then I woke up and I felt strong' 'i stopped one last time before the finish line, had something to eat and had rested as much as I could' 'the mental fatigue along with the technical difficulties combined were very challenging'. Real pity, although I hope Scott make more of these 'style' videos.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tantalising teaser. I liked Ali’s voice over, I thought he said T burn ass desert which wouldn’t have been too far from the truth. The video edit has encouraged me to enter this event either 2021 or next year. Good work team Scott/Brownlee.

Impressive ride, but that's more flat tyres than I've had in last 6 years riding my CX bike often on even rougher terrain usually with narrower [tubeless] tyres too. 28mm + 33mm are my most used. I gather they were tubeless setup to start with, but were the tyres not up to it, sealant not good? Still using very high pressures, so sealant squirts out?

WTH did you use tubes???

The disjointed sound of a narrator reading out somebody else's prose is awful. Great footage and he's a superstar. But the soundtrack is wooden as a Hugh Grant sketch.
