Fans talk about Caitlin Clark more than any American athlete right now - every athlete other than fellow W players all want to talk about Caitlin. Let’s not be ignorant to the facts at the moment. AB isn’t as popular as CC by a mile. Let’s be real - unless you are projecting your own biases onto her, Caitlin is nothing, if not super intelligent, lovely, sweet and cute, with the media. Why wouldn’t they want to talk with her all the time?

That is very unprofessional and RUDE. that is the interviewer's fault and not caitlin's ofc. Let them show professionalism for once at least otherwise it's only going to cause resentment all around. Hell even other teams are getting asked questions about CC which they shouldn't have to be tbh.

@@chyme2465 yeah, it already has caused resentment. But, it’s not their job to be polite. The team makes players available for postgame and they ask questions. When Jordan or Iverson were at a podium with certain players, that always happened. I’ve seen her go up with Kelsea and Aliyah before and they all got questions. Frankly, tonight AB played like trash, and she looked mad, so why not talk to the player that the fans wanna hear from and leave Boston alone?

That being said, AB won Player of the Week for 6/10-6/16, and the only mention of it was when a reported asked Caitlin Clark, "what does Aliyah Boston's POTW win mean to you?" It's disgusting, sad, and lazy. "But we only care about Caitlin Clark." Baby, you only KNOW about Caitlin Clark.

Im the Uk the manager does the main after game interview. The players do quick 2 minutes ones as they're on the way to the changing rooms.This gives mutuple players a voice as the press only get 2 mins with each player.

The W came out with that new rule and the Fever should exercise that with CC. I'm sure she'd like a break from the same tedious questions. The reporters were rude to Boston. Real professionals. This is nothing new. They did it at Iowa's post game press conferences too. If Lisa participated that helped a little. There were always some questions for her. It was wild to see the press pretty much ignore the team captain Kate Martin. She was just as important to their success. If you watched all the games you knew. You could tell Caitlin was tired of all the questions back then too.

Not sure why both are there. They were wrong to only ask Caitlin Clark questions but at the same time why not interview one player at a time like the NBA. My only thing is no one will watch a Fever interview if Caitlin Clark isn't there. So they should at least ask Caitlin Clark 50 to 70% of the questions and rotate between players but they were really going to ask Caitlin Clark 100% of the questions until Caitlin made them ask Aliyah Boston questions.

The honeymoon is halfway over and people are starting to watch Clark play. The constant cussing and screaming and disrespecting the refs makes her look cocky and arrogant. She's been treated like a baby sincr she played her first game. College is over and those players are pros and aren't going to take her attitude. The media has made Clark better than everybody else and she should have to sit and answer questions after every game.

Money, greed, and fame is a monster. It's not just the reporters. The league doesn't know how to grow strategically. They are using and riding off her college fame in the worst way. AB, KM, NS, CC and company have been slowly getting better and syncing. I have seen before the press ask one player almost every question and ignore the teammates so this is not a Clark effect, it's the usual inconsiderate behavior not of journalists, per se, but of an inconsiderate society not focused on the Golden Rule.

You know the really sad think about all of this is that meaning of the players and some of the fans are all hating on Caitlin Clark including some of her teammates and coaches and most obviously many opponents and they are so jealous and upset about all the notoriety and attention she receives but what has she personally done or said about the sport or any team or any particular player that would spark any controversy... Nothing she's been gracious and courteous and kind considerate and definitely patient and tolerant and resilient and unfortunately people paying attention to her that's not her fault and if players want more attention notoriety or whatever they just have to keep doing their thing and proving their point which many are doing but they are still hating on Caitlin and that's so sad and unnecessary

This is what results of the media promoting one player while ignoring the entire league gets you. The media put high expectations on one player out of speculation based off a college career. The casual fans who are fans of players but not the product as a whole did not help either. CC got too much on her plate and this is coming from someone who is an Angel Reese fan. CC would have been much further along as a player if it was not for media specualtion. Because of the the high expectations everyone is gunning for her. Imagine if CC could have been treated like everyone else, she would not get the scrutiny and would have integrated more easily into the league. She is going to get the opposing team's best effort every game for the forseeable future. The more people call her GOAT the harder they gone to make sure she proves it. It will not get easier for her. Other players want to be recognized as well and no one is going to lie down for her.

Why is the WNBA allowing these reporters to repeatedly and continually treat CC’s teammates disrespectful and rude? Nothing is being done to protect the players. Every week this happens at Fever press conferences. CC is sick and tired of it herself. She is tired of the press rudely ignoring her teammates. If I were CC I would refuse to do these conferences until the WNBA enforces strict rules upon all media reporters. Everyone deserves to be treated equally. Reporters who only want to dump every question on CC need to be removed.
