Every time I go to Chicago all I can think about is "I wonder if Matt Skiba has stood where I'm standing..." Ridiculous. I LOVE this documentary! I didn't even know it existed, lol. So thank you for posting it.
Alkaline Trio is amazing. I hope they tour again soon. I've seen them 10 times, but I missed the last time, and I missed the close by shows of Matt in Blink 182
Andrew Purvis I saw blink in Pennsylvania and it was pretty good, Matt sounds better live with blink than he does on the overly produced album... it was really refreshing. ADTR was a great opening act for them as well.
That's awesome. Matt is skilled/talented as fuck. Funny thing for me is I first found out who the Alkaline Trio was because of Blink. In 2003, because the BBC version of Crawl was on the "Atticus: Dragging the Lake 2" compilation. When that song start I thought it was pretty good, then Matt did his amazingly bad ass backing vocals and I was booked.
I live in a town 25 minutes south of where matt grew up. whenever my boyfriend and i drive up to mchenry we also wonder where matt’s been in our area. going to one of our favorite restaurants, that matt actually has a sandwich at, we pass where part of the Stupid Kid video was recorded. it’s wild how it works out like that sometimes.
"It is very possible I used crayons to write him that letter. I may have even drawn him a picture of what we wanted to do... I don't know." - Matt Skiba ... Only Matt!
How its been 11 years n no one corrected you...the cover article was even stolen by alk3 lmao en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Clash_(album)#:~:text=The%20Clash%20is%20the%20debut,April%201977%20through%20CBS%20Records.
