In early game, focusing on Cain can help a lot if you're using Aurora. As you develop more pets you learn to switch them as needed for different fights.

Aurora, Arachne, Maya, and Celeste can probably beat that team. Just make sure to use Biscuit on Maya and Mara on Arachne to strip Ode and stun lock them.

If you're using Aurora or Dante, go with Cain, otherwise you can't go too wrong with Oliver.

Vex is better since it's 100% chance of status effect, making him better for Ode stripping.

@@MistyKathrine For Ode stripping, I would agree. I am asking about the blinding though, because Lara now makes a stun team pretty interesting with her auto crits - and a Keira, say, that would consistently blind 1 or 2 defenders with each ricocheting basic attack would be a useful member of such a team. Something like Arachne/Fafnir/Lara/Keira/Sebastian

@@c1ue1 It's pretty unreliable and the blind effect only lasts 2 seconds. The main reason to use Fenris has always been for his Armor pen buff, though these days does that as well while adding better physical attack and a better debuff.

@@MistyKathrine It is not perfect, but Lara's and Fafnir's mass stuns are also only 2 seconds but overall probably would occur at much the same overall rate per minute as a possible Keira ricochet blinding. Hence my question - which is still unanswered. Thanks anyway.

@@c1ue1 Fafnir and Lara can both use Mara patronage to make those stuns last 6 seconds. Also stuns keep the enemy from taking any actions, even dodging, for the duration of the effect. Blind on the other hand just makes it so a character can't do physical damage, it has no affect over their magic or pure damage capabilities or any of their support and control capabilities. Of the 5 main status effects, blind is easily the weakest of them, and even then, dodge buffing your team up with Aurora or Dante is going to be more effective most of the time.
