Time and Tide seem to have no criticism for anything, glorified advertising really. Was enjoying alot of their videos but this really puts me off. Grow a set and tell the truth, overpriced quartz gimmick release. At an affordable price it's fun but this is a complete rip off.
@@edbee8508 Picked one up from the road. An F91-W. Case, crystal, straps broken, because cars went over this watch. Changed battery, common type. At first just the light worked, tested, because polarity was not indicated. Nothing else happened, after some time it worked normally! Accuracy, acc. to Casio, +-35sec/month, this one is just +~2sec/month ! Great fun! But I prefer mechanical, automatic watches, e. g. JlC "Grand Reveil". Daily driver is a 25yrs old cheap Seiko licence built.
@@JamesAlexander14 a watch like that was famous on 80s and 90s on a steel version as tag heuer not as kith heuer it’s like monnswatch but more and more expensive price
The very worst opinion one can share is that about how stupid smart people are. In cases such as with this watch here, one must instead assume that there's something coming. Something revelatory. And something revelatory is coming.
Dog water. If anyone buys this, it better be resellers or hypebeast. Throw a supreme box with it and charge 5K! Thank you TAG for showing your true colors. Absolutely dog water.
Some people find this comment funny but I was thinking of buying two tags that I kind of liked but, after the release of this I’m embarrassed to even think about buying a tag again.
These re-editions are nice for what they are. But come on! They’re ridiculously overpriced! They should sell for max $500 not $1500! Limited editions or not 🤦
These watches are a bargain for non-watch people that spend thousands on Birkins and LV bags, without nitpicking on the value-per-dollar amount. This collab is clearly targeting the hype-seekers, not enthusiasts. But that's also the biggest reason why the enthusiasts are pissed... because many have been wanting to see this line re-released
I guess i don’t even know what time and tide is since it seems to just only have a positive opinion on every single watch video. Obviously there are criticisms with this release and not even addressing them isn’t true journalism
Thanks for the rundown. Initially I was a bit confused by all the variances in production numbers and where to find them. After handling the three available ones at TH, I can say they feel extremely satisfying to hold and wear. Yes, $1500 is a lot for this thing, but it's super cool.
Just a bunch of Hype nonsense. Could have been a great release, but I actually think this is going to cause TAG more problems in the watch world, just when they were starting to get respected again.
I noticed all the original versions value has boomed on the used market. I’m glad I have an original in mint condition however the new versions price smells of insanity, you could buy a used Omega seamaster 300 and go out for a nice dinner instead.
I wear my original 90’s F1 at least once a week. It’s my favourite watch for many reasons. As a ‘retro watch fan’, I can absolutely assure you, I am not ‘delighted’.
“enthusiasts” will criticise this release. Most of them would never have heard of KITH and thus will think this release is a rip-off. I can agree it is definitely overpriced, but pretty much all limited KITH collaborations sell out straight away and KITH is a successful brand. This release isn’t for the average watch enthusiast who talks about value for money, movement etc… its a fashion brand aiming to sell to an audience who will treat these watches almost as fashion accessories. It will be a successful release and its not for you so, just move on..
