No you're not the only one. Fans have been theoryzing for years about there being a crystal type pokmon as a brand new type of pokemon that or to have a crystal pokeball. The crystal pokeball idea came from movie 3 Lord of the unknown tower /spell of the unown : Entei The first crystal pokemon we see is in the orange islands of gen 1 kanto region anime wise , and then there is Suicune from the vidoe game called pokemon crystal. A lot of people thought Suicune was a brand new type , a crystal type hence the name of the game and Suicune does a have crystal like desgin and color to it . But alas Suicune was a water type . They could have done much better with this if they didn't rush it, like on how they didn't do too bad when it came to the mega as well as the z moves. But those games were not as rushed as scarlet and voilet , the same can be said about sword and shield and legends :Arcues These are all games that , if the company did not rush through could have been very well done . And if done the right way rather than by simply rushing the games, would have lead to being fully amazing rather than a disappointment to those who are not only fans but are also those who buy and play the games.

Imo I love the steel one, grass one is ok, and hate the dark one

@Morgan K. for me it really comes down to my OCD. I like symmetry and simplicity. Of the three Steel is easily the best, dark is ok but they could have done much better, and grass is just too much and no symmetry. I honestly would have preferred if the hats were more like the hats Kirby gets, like Kirby's traditional Flame Hat or Ice Hat. Those sorts of things. Or just no hats at all and instead did a particle effect around them, like falling snowflakes for Ice, or orange Candle Flames for Fire and blue/purple Candle Flames for Ghost....though, I really love the Ghost hat's call back to Gen1, honestly that hat is perfect.

the hats are goofy and don't make any sense. its just another stupid mechanic like mega or gigantamax
