161 sky landers, around $5 each, that’s $805. If brand new, then about $10, making it $1610, maybe $15 for the ones after the fifth games, including the vehicles, so about $1700 for all of those sky landers. Though try selling them all at GameStop, and you’d get about $200 for it
I loved Skylanders, it was one of the highlights of my childhood, I still remember when I was over at my grandparent’s house for a visit, and the TV was on. An ad for Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure came up and all my attention just focused onto the TV, I begged my parents to get it for my birthday and they did. I played every game (Well except Swap Force, Superchargers and Imaginatiors, I really regret not getting Imaginators though, I wanted to, but my birthday had already passed and the hype was already gone once my next birthday came up), the thing I loved about them is that they weren’t only just for a digital game, but also could be played with physically (I kinda stopped doing that though, because my Chill figure may have lost her arm......whoops 😵), anyways when I look back I recognise a ton of them, but then I noticed that there are so many I’ve never heard of at all! I think my most favourite Skylanders were Smoulderdash and Warnado, it did always want Déjà Vu though. Anyways I was really disappointed that it ended, I do understand that the toys come to life thing was getting old, but I’m kinda glad it did as well, cause all good things come to an end!
I have Jawbreaker from trap team it's one of my favorite and I think it looks so cool but one day it fell and his arm broke and it can't be repaired :( I was so sad but I am now happy I can still play with it. I'm so sorry for u man 😖
I have a tech quickshot, I had one of each element crystal, so I decided to give each creation the most fitting weapon I could think of, and a tech quickshot was no mistake on my part.
thank you so much for making this video man! I am brand new to skylanders and I don't have a clue haha hopefully this will help me find some Skylanders that I like. I just picked up swap force, trap team, superchargers, and imaginators. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!
They don't work cause they're from Superchargers, the older games can't run the newer characters since they aren't coded into the older games, but they'll work just fine if you get imaginators, or if you get trap team characters.
My experience with sky landers: Spyro’s Adventure: -Me and my sister got it on our PS3 in Christmas 2011 after seeing a gameplay demo in a games store. We loved it so much and we would play it constantly. At the start I used to be gill grunt and trigger happy, and my sister would be spyro and occasionally trigger happy. We would have a deal with my mum and step dad that every week we be have and do choirs to be able to go to the shop every Friday night we would go to the shop and buy a new sky landers each. We went through some weeks and got quite a bit of figures until we finally got to the chaos level and completed the game. We kinda forgot it after that and I just used the toys to make short films and play with tbh. Giants/Swap Force: -Even though we loved spyro’s Adventure, we actually never bought Giants until 2014 when my dad bought me Giants and Swap Force for the Xbox 360 when we were on holiday and it was my bday. So i played them both on holiday and was looking forward to completing them, yet I never actually got to completing them. I didn’t play it with my sister but still enjoyed both games, probably giants more than swap Force though. Although they both still have a special place to me as I loved the holiday and experience. Trap Team: -About a year after the holiday and trap teams actual release I decided to buy Trap team for my 360 and I loved it so much. I completed the whole thing and now had so many figures. Truly the best one imo. After playing it and re-playing it. I think I sold giants and swap force, but never sold trap team for some reason. Supercharges: (or whatever it called) -Saw an add but thought it wasn’t gonna be released for a while, yet when it was I never played it and forgot about the ad. Imaginators -Never knew this was a game until recently lol
They already had Sony's other mascot from the beginning so it could have happened at anytime, but Imaginators or Superchargers made sense for the inclusion.
They should release a series remaster where you just unlock characters when you find their soul gem, these were solid games if it weren't for all of the money you had to shell out
yeah but they have the right to ask for money, it costs them more to make the games, and all they’re asking for is 5-10$ for a character, you shouldn’t ask for something that costs more than 30-40k dollars to make to just basically be free. sure you’d need to buy the game but that’s practically nothing. if anything they’re being way too kind to us.
It's sad with how hard this series fell and ended on a sour note. The original game was a perfect game. Giants felt like an interesting sequel to the original and was even hinted by the original game. Swap Force introduced jumping, improved visuals, and new mechanics. Like the art style for the game. Trap Team improved the visuals a bit more. The traps were cool and added more interaction with the portal. Nice story too and brought back the idea of Kaos being aware of Portal Masters on Earth like from the first two games. Superchargers had an excellent story with a darker touch to it. Imaginators just fell short in my opinion. Nothing really stood out that much and the customizations were really limited like Sonic Forces was. The story was lacking way too much.
In order of when I played the games 1st one for me was Giants. Then I got Superchargers Then Spyro’s adventure Then trap team Then imaginators But I have never played swap force
I'd love to get my kids into Skylanders, though I don't believe it is around at all in my area. I wonder if Skylanders will make a come back for the future. It was an excellent game to introduce young kids 4+ how to play & get involved with gaming. I wonder if one is still able to purchase all the games and characters 🤔
I loved this game series as a kid, I would revisit this series if they some how remastered all 6 into one collection but instead of figures you unlock the characters as you play the game (that might save you a bit of money
Man this game was a big part of my childhood. I use to watch anything with Skylanders and loved to learn more about any new Skylanders. Trap Team was the first and only title I owned and I got maybe 30-40 of them. I truly remember my last set of Skylanders being Chopper, Shroom Boom Series 3, and Funny Bone in a 3 pack (since Shroom Boom was actually a double and it was tough finding trap team characters since Superchargers was out). I fell out when Superchargers came out as I didn't find the premise interesting, nor did my brother who loved playing with me co-op when we rarely did. I truly loved those times even if this game is a crappy cash grab, I hope they Revive it somehow and someway with the full roster.
I might be one of the rare people that have one of these games. I still have a very old Wii U that still works well. I started playing trap team again and I never noticed how good of a game it is and how sad I feel that I never got to play the other games.
