Honestly this might be one of my favourite song of Season 2 yet. Bryce Pinkman is such talent voice actor and singer because boy did he absolutely deliver with this BANGER!

Tex literally backing Verosika in this song is interesting, given that A) Tex has previously expressed that he has no desire to get involved in Verosika's feud with Blitzo, and B) he's probably the most emotionally intelligent character in the show. Even though he doesn't get any of his own lines this episode, his voice adds rhetorical weight to Verosika's, forces us (and Blitzo and Stolas) to take what she's saying seriously, not just as the venting of a bitter ex.

As a gay boy who’s seventeen, and has been in love with my childhood friend, who I now see as someone I no longer care for, these lyrics mean a lot to me. I knew him since I was ten, and we explored places together, and I grew so attached to him. But I got into a car accident and almost died, and he never said anything. I told him what happened, and he still didn’t do anything. I tried to reconnect with him, thinking I was the issue, but I never broke through the veil he built around himself that disconnected me from the similarities we shared. Sometimes he showed slight concern, but he never took the hint or opportunity to talk to me about the truth until it affected him and his image. Someone who was once loving and accepting had turned into someone spiteful and selfish. I always felt it was my duty to try and steer him towards a better future, but he didn’t want that. He’d take advantage of my kindness, like letting him copy my work, and ignoring my attempts to help him learn or study together. He always told me no, not even directly, just saying he couldn’t and never explaining why. I know it’s my fault for not respecting his boundaries, but how can someone be so unconcerned with someone he used to call his best friend? The worst part is that I still love him. Every time he walks into the room or near me, I completely forget all the progress and promises I made to myself. I understand and appreciate this song so well; it honestly made me cry because of how much I felt it in my heart. I’m so sorry, Stolas. I know you wanted him. I know you wanted a world where he was there for you when you needed him, and you didn’t have to worry about other things, and trying to stop feeling these feelings. I like how the first time they say "a motherfucker" stolas tenses up and I personally think it was because he still didn't want to beleive blitz was that word at all until he dug through his feelings to actually let them out in the song. So he varys between it in the song till he finally did some lore stuff and also really said it.
