This is a great upload. I always felt like people missed just how fucking good this guy was. A great centerfielder and ballplayer. You hit 22 postseason home runs, I don't care if there are 5 rounds of playoffs every year, you should get into the HOF on roller skates.

Bernie is my 2nd fave player of all time.....just behind Donnie Basball. David Cone is my 3rd fave. The trade to get Cone was the get over the top move of my life as a yank fan since 1990

A lot of those HR's tied, put the Yankees up, or padded slim leads. Talk about clutch.

He should be in the Hall of Fame.

Based on today's stats, he would be a HOF. He played in the steroids era and that didn't help him. He also had a young Ken Griffey Jr as a comparison for CFs.

Imagine if they would have won in 2001 and 2003. The Yankees would have been in a class by themselves in winning sports world championships in another way.

We also should’ve won in ‘04. Imagine we won 96 98 99 00 01 03 04. Would’ve been crazy.

You should include the dates somewhere. I can figure most of them out, but not everyone could.

Tony Perez’s career numbers compares to Bernie’s career numbers. Tony is in the MLB Hall of Fame but Bernie should be in also.

Bernie had a lot more power batting right-handed. I think had Bernie batted right-handed his entire career, he would've had close to 350 home runs, then a legit shot at the HOF.

The first home run in Seattle and threw that ball back is probably no longer here but could’ve bout a nice asset with that ball

2:28 For such a well known all around gentleman and introvert Bernie's bat flips on home runs were pretty wild. Nobody ever took exception or really noticed them all that much back then. In fact I'm only really noticing it now rewatching this decades later. I guess Bat flip or not you would sound absolutely rediculous trying to call Bernie a show boat

@donaldjones2370 definitely not....I think him & Juan Gone hit a combined 8? 9? HRs in the division round. Could be wrong tho.
