Great to see the Technic coaster is still there. It was my oldest son's first coaster. We rode it endlessly when the park first opened and no one was there.
Nice! I’d never been to Legoland as a kid, so I haven’t ridden the ones with age or height maximums, but I’ve been on almost everything else (except Cargo Ace).
Wow! That’s awesome. I think I’ve only heard of one other person with my name. Thanks for sharing. I’ve made peace with never seeing my name on a mug in a theme park and am so used to people misspelling or mispronouncing it. 😂
@@SoCalDisneyDad I’m super grateful for the work you put into them. We’re finally headed your way in September, and your videos always build confidence when I’m planning. Thank you!
As always your videos are awesome 👌 👏. We are going March 5th for my son's 6th bday! We are passholders and love going! Thanks again. Will you be doing the Sea world food even next weekend? Hopefully we will see you there!
@SoCal Disney Dad ok another question. This will be my first time at the Seven Fishes. I've seen your videos and I'm excited..do they offer discounts for platinum passholders? And geek moment I hope I can meet you all. I'm super excited 😄
@@jennifergonzalez6236 They have a tasting card that’s got bonus items. It’s 18 items instead of 15. I’m not positive on the price. Around $80 maybe? But it’s only like $4.44 an item. As opposed to buying them without a taste card at $8-$9/each Please absolutely do say hi if you see us. We will be there around 12-1, hitting up the booths.
My husband and I went yesterday with our two boys, ages 3 and 5. No lines at all, I think because it was a Tuesday, overcast, and light jacket weather. We had an amazing time! Apple straws were delicious! Zero wait for those too! We also really enjoyed the smokehouse! Pro Tip: do not visit on a weekend, visit on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
For sure! I don’t think I’ve ever gone middle of the week. We almost always go on weekends, but I imagine the weekdays are way better! Glad you had an awesome time.
I can’t believe they took down two of the best rides my family and I enjoyed. We usually stay at the hotel twice each year and now with those rides gone my 9 and 12 year old are bored and now prefer staying at the Disneyland hotels. Legoland makes my two 6 years olds happy but I prefer a park where all of us will enjoy. Legoland 👋🏻 please bring those rides back. 😆
Well the most recent one was aquazone replaced by the ninjago training playground and then the knight tournament ☹️ which was intense but fun. They will be missed
@@eguzman43 I did remember seeing the water area when I first started going to Legoland. The ride was already gone by then though. And I might remember a building for the other one, but they tore it down pretty soon after. I didn’t know what either thing was for.
We went LEGOLAND first time this president day . I feel it is much more crowded than SeaWorld or Zoo. Is LEGOLAND alway this busy even on normal weekend?
No. Holidays are always packed. In fact, I think I saw that they sold out on Monday. They almost never sell out. Weekends during Summer and Spring Break can still be pretty busy. But weekends in the off season are doable. I’ve never actually gone on a weekday that wasn’t attached to a holiday at one end or the other, so I can’t speak to crowds in the middle of the week.
Trying to plan a trip this summer. Do you recommend legoland for children age 8 and 10? I’ve gotten a few mixed reviews on older children not enjoying it as much. Also any feedback on the hotel/castle to stay?
I have an 8 and 5 year old. They both still really enjoy legoland. I imagine the oldest will still love it when he’s 10. My wife went to legoland for the first time when she was 12-13 and has very fond memories of the visit. It’s probably up to the temperament of your kids? If they already think they’re “too cool” for certain things, then perhaps it might not be? If they are huge thrill seekers, there are no thrills here. Not really. The Technic Coaster is as “wild” as it gets. We’ve stayed at both Legoland hotels and prefer the Castle Hotel.
I’m unaware of Sky Cruiser, but I hardly ever ride the submarine ride. Sky Cruiser sounds more enticing. They should have left it. Whatever it was had to be better than the submarine ride. 😂
@@itzelreyes271 Okay, at first glance I was like “They got rid of a coaster!” And then I saw it was this really slow pedal yourself thing and eh, the submarine is probably better? But the track was there for a coaster. They could have just automated the thing and made it like people mover or something. That would have been fantastic.
I really do like Legoland. Even though it's probably been more than 15 yrs since I've been. And can ride most of the rides. Love that there is a kids theme park. I love the Dragon coaster. It doesn't make me sick. I laugh the whole time.
The Dragon is a great ride! We have quite a few years left that we can go, but eventually the kids will outgrow it and that will be sad when it happens.
I don’t really like Reserve and Ride. The three different tiers is kind of a rip off and overly confusing for people. Everywhere else just offers a single service for a flat fee. Perhaps people that have actually used it have a different experience. But I’ve never had any interest in it. Maybe I should do a video on a busy spring break weekend and see what the $35/person level actually gets you and if it’s worth it or not.
@@lokokrz.gaming I used it once two years ago. But it wasn’t super busy and didn’t really do anything for me. So I’m not sure how useful it is. I definitely should do a video on it this summer. Just not sure when I’m making it back to LEGOLAND. Our summer is pretty packed with being out of town, my eldest son having summer camp among other things.
@@SoCalDisneyDad Awesome thanks for the reply! I might purchase the pass due to seeing the wait time on your previous videos on Legoland. I watched like 5 whole video of your with my family already. Pretty cool that you guys live close to all those theme parks. Can't wait for more future video from you.
Hello there again. Watched your video about Legoland Hotel and it was super informative! Now I wanna ask you if you remember seeing anybody using a wagon? Website says they allow wagons, have been trying to call them to make sure but haven’t got luck yet.
@@SoCalDisneyDad Thank you! I’ve been trying to see if I could find any wagon on the video but I think I’m gonna call them again! Thanks for the videos again!
damn I used to love Lego land, there was so much stuff that I wanted to do but never got to. So many “I’ll do it next time” and now I’m 18 and the chance passed 😬😬😬😬😬
Disneyland is a far better theme park by miles. But compared to a place like SeaWorld, LEGOLAND is a fantastic option for San Diego visitors with children under 12.
