Let's talk about and rank every film in the Ghostbusters franchise! #ghostbusters #frozenempire #ghostbustersfrozenempire #ghostbustersafterlife #ghostbusters2016 #ranking
My ranking: 1st. Ghostbusters 1984 (Still the best and will never be topped.) 2nd. Ghostbusters: Afterlife (Really love this one and a good passing of the torch film, absolutely loved its ending. RIP Harold.) 3rd. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (While not perfect and having a fair amount of flaws, I still had a really good time with this one and it has some pretty interesting concepts and ideas, Garraka was cool but very underutilized.) 4th. Ghostbusters 2 (Not a bad film by any means, it’s still a decent watch.) 5th. Ghostbusters 2016 (Not worth going over.)
I love how many Ghostbusters fans just say, "5 movies? There's only 4! What do you mean a 2016 film?" That goes to show how many people want to forget that thing existed. *I do heavily disagree with Frozen Empire though. I would at least tie it with Ghostbusters 2 in 3rd. It doesn't deserve to sit next to that 2016 film.*
Bro this movie was ok at best, it was all over the place and it just felt like a waste of time. There was way less Action than any of the outer movies and it was cool how they got into the lore of the villain but even that had barely any screen time. The movie overall was ok and i will admit there were some funny moments, ghostbusters 2 is better.
Your list is similar to mine. I had ghostbusters 2 in second then ghostbusters afterlife 3rd. We can sure as hell agree that Ghostbusters 2016 is dead last.
Corey here - I'm going to give you a little grace, Mr. Jones, since science tells us the brain doesn't fully develop until about the age of 24-25.😉 Seriously, though, practically everything you said about the movies I agree with. I would flip your 3 and 4, though. My co-host and I both a agree that there isn't much redeeming about Gb2. The best performance came from the baby. The explanation for the slime and how Vigo actually wound up in the painting is very vague... if there is even one. I had to watch the movie twice for our review to see if I missed something. Frozen Empire was the opposite. Too much exposition. Patton Oswald had too much screen time for his character. It felt like every 5 minutes they were telling us more about Garraka. Those two things said, nice countdown review.
I wanted to like the 2016 film, but wow, it wasn’t funny even though some of the women tried so hard. They just didn’t have good writing and that wasn’t fair to them as performers. I am not sure the point of having cameos of the original cast as other characters. Were they building a parallel universe or ghostbusters multiverse?
Guys there 5 cause it's the frozen empire is the 5th one and it's the 2024 2024 is right now its may 4 2016 counts as ghostbusters but the 2016 was not improved cause it's female and cartoonish so the games does not count as movies they are talking about movies the 2009 one is climbing I guess so I'm gonna do evolution ghostbusters 1 ghostbusters 2 ghostbusters 3 ghostbusters after life and ghostbusters frozen empire these are the 5 ones so that's why it's 5
