All 500 Piece Ravensburger Puzzles | Getting Ready for the Worlds!

I have managed to collect some 500 piece Ravensburger puzzles, and I thought it was only appropriate, to put them in together, to practice for Spain! 🤩
Out of the 4 puzzles I did, I got my personal best and my personal worst today, so that was fun! 😂👌🏻

My guess from worse to best: 4-3-1-2. The circle of life one should be fairly easy, whereas the graphic one looks pretty tough. Edit: oh, that was an on-spot-guess. You can consult me for difficulty grading in the future 😄.

Oh no no, I knew right away that last one would be tough! Stripes and spots are no joke and even though it's only 500 pieces and clearly sectioned, that's still a lot of pieces with stripes and spots. And then you have a few sections of solid colors which aren't the fastest thing to speed puzzle either. That is one heck of a puzzle to speed puzzle :D

That's good! I would have never known! 😅 I guess I learned the hard way haha 😂 And yes, I agree! It was one tough puzzle to speed run! 😅🙈

You really flew through the round puzzle! Good job! I was surprised about that square puzzle. I would have picked that one too. It certainly looks easy. Imagine that one at worlds! That would probably be (more than) half of the field not finishing in time.

Thank you! 🤗 Haha I was surprised too! 😂😅 And yeah.. I don't wanna have square puzzles at the Worlds 😂 If we had it as an individual round, I would probably just walk out 🤣

Hi Janette! There's one more reason why the square puzzle is the hardest, it's actually 572 pieces! People complained to Ravensburger, so for the new print of that pattern puzzle they wrote the correct number of pieces. I also have the previous version that says 500!

Oh my! This is the reason why I was so slow! 😂🤪 I knew that the numbers don't match, but that is really a stretch, so I'm not surprised, that people complained 😅

I love the animals themed circle of colors from Ravensburger. I got it as a present from my mother in law and it is staying in my collection. It is so smooth in the assembling part. Your time was excellent for that puzzle. Yes, the one that took you the longest can be deceiving, separate patterns don't mean "easy" puzzle. Especially is we are talking animal prints. Me too!! 🤩 I find them very enjoyable as well! And thank you! 🤗 It was very deceiving indeed! But I learnt a very important lesson, that I will definitely use in the future! 😅

Playing allong! Best: 2 Worst: 4! Just because I find the circle puzzle usually easier and everytime I try a new kind of puzzle, it can be a bit tricky!

Nice work Janette. Awesome best time you got there. Cant find a Ravensburger round puzzle in my country which is a little disappointing.

I've recently done the Dandelion puzzle myself, but I didn't even write my time down because it was soo bad 😅 I really struggled with the grass 😂 but You did it so well and fast, great time! 🎉 I also did Animals circle and this puzzle is so pleasant to put together, I really enjoyed it 😊 The square puzzle looks very challenging 😮

Here's a speed puzzling tip: use a box top holder. Three reasons: #1 You get a non-distorted view of the image, #2 It is easier to focus on the image (less eye fatigue), #3 It uses less space on your table. Oh and I have guessed correctly for all four puzzles in order of fastest to slowest. 😊

I have the last puzzle and it actually has 576 pieces which partially explains why it took you so long to assembly it. I also finished this puzzle in about two and a half hour, while standard 500 piece puzzle takes me between 50 and 100 minutes

The slower the puzzle, the more bang for your buck you get ;-) Jokes aside, you beat me on the circle of colors and the lake cuomo puzzles by ~8min each, and I do not consider myself a slow puzzler. Just for the record: thanks for reminding me of orange hell, I did it yesterday and spent half the time on just plain orange pieces.

Hahahaha good one!! 😂👌🏻 Interesting! That's a good thing to know, because I never know where to place myself. I keep comparing myself with people who finish puzzles in like half an hour, and I always feel so slow 😅 Oh damn... the orange hell!! 🤯 I hope you had help! That puzzle is torture!!! 😬

@@janetteandherpuzzles I had help by the first half of the puzzle being lots of fun. I take it as a training experience... I think that looking at the worlds tables is a bit misleading. These are puzzlers who travel half the globe to puzzle fast and are the best of the world. Also, the whole atmosphere of the event probably gets the adrenaline going to be even faster. But of if you want to win, you should of course look at these half-an-hour-finishes and how they do it!

Amazing time Janette with the round puzzle! I did it as well, in one hour and ten minutes, but........ we were three people putting the puzzle together hahahahahaha. I will definitively not come to Spain this year hahahahaha.

Ah yes, patterns can be deceiving! The geometric one looked as though it would be easy, but with the zebra and leopard print plus the yellow and the black and white stripes......ended up being the slowest.🐌 Very good time for the circle puzzle. I did that one in just under two hours which is currently my fastest circle puzzle. Still have another eight circle puzzles to do in between other jigsaws. Look forward to your next video.

They really can! I was so surprised with how slow it went! 😅 That's a great time! Circle puzzles can be a bit tricky, because they have completely different cut. But they are so pretty! 😍

It was a good selection of puzzles with each one having their own challenges. It just shows though that you can prepare all you want but on the day it will depend on the puzzle itself. Just hope and pray it’s an easy(ish) one! 😂

I agree with you! 😊 The puzzle makes so much difference, and the best you can do, is just puzzle as much as you can. The rest is up to whoever picks the puzzles 🤣🤣
