When I played we did a lot of Spread formation, ofcourse since I was a Hornet our plays are actually much different. We did have our sweeps, center spread etc. but we also had special plays like Hornet Spread, Hornet Sting (Basically this was more like a Center Sneak.) I played as the Center for Harrold Hornets back in the day so most plays are engrained into my memory, even though its been over 10 years If I where to be in the huddle with the boys I would know exactly what to do. We had 8 men on our 6 man football team, it was tough but our love for the game was life.
I didn't even know 6 man 🏈 was a thing! I knew about 8 man, but not this! I assume there must be quite a bit of rules because you could get pretty wild from a coaching standpoint. Since seeing this, my mind is racing with all of the offensive plays that would create absolute hell for defenses! So, what size field is this played on? It must be quite a bit smaller!?
In Texas our fields are 80yds long and 40yds wide. Field Goals are worth 4 pts, and PAT kicks are worth 2pts. QB can not cross line of scrimmage unless a clean exchange has been made. So usually the ball is snapped to an upback who then pitches to QB, who can then run or throw. All players are eligible to run downfield routes.
