I think it really shows how much Benson cares about Mordecai and Rigby cause he never actually fires them despite him having plenty of genuine reasons to he really wants to help them become better workers but his methods aren't exactly great
Maybe, but we can't forget that Benson did had his moments in Regular Show where he would DO ANYTHING to fire Mordecai and Rigby, just so he can finally be free from their daily antics and the constant chaos they mostly cause in the show. He even seemed that he enjoys torturing, abusing, and firing Mordecai and Rigby in Pie Contest, Lunch Break, Replaced, Operation: Hear No Evil, Muscle Mentor, A Bunch of Full-Grown Geese, and The Best Burger in the World.
@@VampireFan-rf5kb uhh, the best burger in the world was so bad, benson was at he's worst here, again he eventually start to bond with them as the show goes on, season 8 is prove of that
@@denysvision True, but Season 8 also had "Operation: Hear No Evil," in which it was basically "The Best Burger in the World" all over again, but Benson at least does get his comeuppance at the end of "Operation: Hear No Evil" though. There was also "One Space Day at a Time" from Season 8 of Regular Show where Benson blamed Rigby for getting the Park gang (and Eileen) and the Park itself stuck in outer space without any contact towards other people from Earth when it was actually EVERYONE'S fault on getting themselves and the Park in outer space as they all pushed the button that launched themselves and the Park in outer space.
My favorite one is where he tells mordecai and Rigby to play video games or their fired. Just goes to show that even a boss as good as Benson can admit when he's wrong

While he does get angry with them I think Benson sees his relationship with Mordecai and Rigby as kind of a father/son type of one, where he does get angry with them because they’re irresponsible but at the same time he remembers that they only do this because they’re young, and so I think the thing Benson always had in the back his mind whenever he got angry with them was “They’ll learn, it may not be today, it may not be tomorrow but someday they’ll learn”
That is especially true for the 1st your fired quote in the video. The animation for that looked really choppy and not good, it’s occasionally nice to see shows improve their budget as time goes on.
