I personally, would want to see a manga/anime about the sengoku era hashira and what the Tsugikuni brothers were doing after Yoriichi got exiled and when Michikatsu became a demon.

I'd like to add another thing, IF this ever were to happen it'd be nice to see every form of thunder breathing that wasn't demonic same with moon breathing. We'd also be able to see the missing 4 flame breathing forms.

@@calinsau8232 no, other countries use guns and it simply isn’t funny, and you can’t use a breathing style for a gun it’s only controlling your breath for a more accurate shot he also uses a blade separate from his gun.

Not even close so yorrichi honestly even inosuke slams hinokami kagura is a dance you do once a year sun breathing is a breathing style in my opinion the gods of demon slayer are 1. Yorrichi 2. Kokoshibo 3. Senguko demon slayers 4. Tanjiro 5. Gyomei 6. Sanemi 7. Obanai 8.Muichiro

@@twice-i43I’m pretty sure Muichiro and Obanai should be flipped but either way your list is overall correct. The thing is Tanjiro did at the end master Sun Breathing as it’s actual form rather than the branch off Hinokami Kagura, so if he himself stated that his father was more a powerful than he was then if he wasn’t dead from his sickness he very well could’ve learned it and became second to Yoriichi in that instance. This is all just a “what if” scenario” but that’s just the thing of it since he never reached his full potential. Although Tanjiro’s at his full potential I think would still be more powerful than Kokushibo but that’s not what we get from the anime, I’m talking like a few more years of training on strictly the Sun Breathing form to hone every bit of it to its utmost capabilities as Yoriichi had it, as Muzan stated even tho it was mastered, Tanjiro still wasn’t as quick or powerful

@@twice-i43nah, the current Hashira are stronger than the Sengoku era pillars. Sengoku era pillars were so weak Muzan got bored of them, and even if they had demon slayer marks, so does the current Hashira. Not to mention Gyomei is directly praised by Kokushibo as being the strongest person he’s fought in 300 years.

@@yaboyphoenix1528 Id say otherwise, sure tanjuro is much more capable than tanjiro when he was a kid. But tanjiro is the only one possessing the original sun breath at the end. Tanjuro is pretty old and I don’t think they’re both different talent wise cus tanjiro still is a kid. He’s just humble thats all

Fun fact that the Rengokus family ancestry always kept up. They never had a demon slayer mark except the first prodigy of flame breathing. The flame breathers are never going to be different.

Tanjuro was performing the Hinokami Kagura dance that's a ritual offering to the Fire God for protection from death and illness, so it had nothing to do with sun breathing. The scar tanjuro had does not look like a demon slayer mark, demon slayer marks would have colors such as red, green, pink, blue, and black.

no, the Hinokami Kagura dance was actually the sun breathing movement. Sumiyoshi learned it and was later passed down to the next generation and so on, but in the form of a ritual dance. Tanjiro learned that if you remove the unnecessary movements of the Kagura and combine it with swordsmanship skills and movements, it is actually the sun breathing technique

Tbf the drugs also didnt help since the reason he was weakening was also because his cells was aging so fast they had to evolve constantly to keep up meaning regeneration is much slower. Perhaps had he lived naturally at full capacity these 9000 years would the scars actually heal

Demon Slayers during sengoku era were weaker, than current era. Firstly, they DIDN’T HAVE BRIGHT RED SWORD, and Michikatsu too. He was very surprised when Muichiro made his sword scarlet and said himself that in his opinion it was necessary to have sun breathing to activate the scarlet sword. So, hashira during sengoku era didn’t have this ability. And Kokushibo said, that he got transparent world only when he became a demon. So, when he was a human, he was only on Giyu-Sanemi level, and other hashira’s too. They had only demon slayer marks, and that’s all

this is to those who dont no in the manga tanjiro and giyuu faught akaza but niether of the killled him because when akaza had a flash back when he came back to reality he then disided to go see his wife again so he used his power and killed himself yes tanjiro slashed his head the first time but akaza did what muzan could do he could regenerate his head and stop the bleeding but then when he had the flash back he wanted to see his wife again so he killed himself and i think he went to heaven and after that tanjiro and giyu both fainted of being exausted

and yoriichi never deafeated muzan because when he was about to he asked him a question like what is a life to you or somthin like that but the muzan exploded himslef to get away he exploded into 1800 pieces and yoriichi was only able to cut thrugh 1500 and was kicked out of the demon slayer hq for not deafeting muzan and tamayo chan but four medicine s in him to turne him human thats why in the manga his hair was white and its been there for atleast 7 to 8 hours thats why geiyome obanai misturi tanjiro giyuu nee san and kanao were able to defaet muzan because he was getting weak

⁠⁠the selfless state is like concealing yourself, for example in the fight with akaza, when akaza did his compass blood demon art, he could sense someone’s bloodlust, and fighting spirit, but by doing selfless state tanjiros energy just went neutral. Akaza couldn’t sense bloodlust or fighting spirit. And transparent world is exactly the name, the manga says it’s like seeing an x-ray of everything in front of you, for example this picture 3:34

Tanjiro should be lower than the current hashira. #1 Tanjiro got 1 shot by Muzan while the other pillars (Iguro, and Mitsuri) were keeping up despite not having the mark. #2 A sun breather first needs to unlock the mark for it to spread to others. (it has nothing to do with the strength of the weilder) #3 Tanjiro was the last person to unlock the red blade. He only unlocked it by himself in the battle with Muzan. Before he needed Nezuko's help to do it. And even with all these, he still needed the help of half dead Obanai. Tanjiro should be lower on this list.
