There's an outside chance that Brady and Gronk catch Manning and Harrison 114 TDs. But Brady won more superbowls than Manning before he met Gronk, and again after he met him. The 14 post season TDs is really the record that's worth more.
In his prime before the injuries mounted up, Gronkowski possessed an unprecedented combination of size, strength, speed, agility, hands, and football I.Q. (yes, that's right) at the TE position, making him dominant both as a receiver and as a blocker.
No disrespect to future Hall of Famer Kelce, but I’ll take prime healthy Gronk over Kelce on his best day. The higher the stakes, the better Gronk performs.
The thing is Jerry Rice played for two quarterbacks, Montana and Young, so his individual stats with each may not be as high as Brady and Gronk (I’d have to check), as Gronk has only ever played with Brady. That being said, Rice and Gronk are the GOAT at their position, so it’s hard to compare and say who’s better.
That really is most of the root cause of all the Brady hate. Not many will admit it. But Rob Parker is a paid antagonist. An assclown. A Court Jester if you will. He only does what he does to earn a paycheck. Why? It brings back the viewers to see him grovel, or rather, if he WILL grovel. He does not and keeps up the drivel to what? Bring back the viewers. He knows it. The network knows it. On one hand, you can say why not? It brings home the bacon. But he is not a serious analyst/talking head. He is entertainment to bring back people to laugh at his ridiculous rants. But he does laugh all the way to the bank. Go figure.
