Not sure if you noticed. Their ship is named "Going Merry" named after Merry, who built it. And on the front of it their's a sheep's head with horns just like Merry.

i have a feeling they'll get together in the end, but as of right now, they cant be beyond friends, not with him being a Pirate and her needing to get outta bed more. this way he can still meet pretty girls and not feel like he's cheating on her. right now they're too young to be battened down with a relationship.

not to mention, if they did get together, Kaya could get into big trouble when Usopp becomes a pirate with a bounty on his head, as that's why Yasopp never came back to Syrup Village. not because he didnt want to, but because his wife and son could've been incarcerated if not executed for being a pirate family.@@1tsYog
