Hi ! My cakes are 4" high and the cake slicer app as well as websites say that a 6" feeds 12 and 8" feeds 24. Is this incorrect? If so I've been recommending the wrong sizes per servings.
Like I mentioned I go on the lower end just to ensure there’s enough when I quoted for customers. For my own family a 6 inch would definitely feed 12! 🥰🍰
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe thank you! 😊 I love all your videos! you explain so well and they are very intertaining and knowledgeable!! I also wanted to ask you how do we know the buttercream will stay put and not melt I guess that's my fear lol 😅
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe Hi, I had the same question as Sunshine - wondering how many layers in the cakes. What do you mean by 2-3 layers depending on how you cut it? I don't understand. Thank you for your video - so helpful and inspiring!
@oliviadeakyne9991 layers is the number of bread, are you using 2 breads,or 3 breads stacked. So ,in this instance she talking about an 8" pan size, that you will get 2 or 3 breads stacked together.
Your correct every year I purchase this tiny cake that reflects my wedding cake top tier that we have every year on our anniversary and it took the two of us a week to consume
@@justdaysi1367 oh totally! Tons of my fellow bakers use boxed cake mixes either as they are or they add stuff in to make it their own. I personally think either way is good as long as you enjoy it! 🍰💕
