My favorite is definitely the dark blue diamond. The Hope diamond is amazing. Love learning about all the stones you guys do. I do think the Herkimer diamond is interesting with the carbon inside. Though I think they are truly not diamonds. 💙💎

Loved this because, diamond are truly, a girls best friend! A diamond of any color is fabulous, and i am a colorless or pink kind of gal, when it comes to diamonds. The more light refraction, and the cut, the more sparkly and i love sparkly! So this was truly illuminating. I know some stones are treated to produce color, so if we are going to produce colors on purpose, i look fabulous in black and pink! Love you guys! Thanks!

You know what helps me when hate goes; I remember Simon's geofraphic video. I know exactly where I was and was written on closed captions and said literally. Remembering something that is truth instead of hate and people's opinions or thoughts of you overcomes. Your parents or foster parents etc. Wouldn't want you to get hurt or die. Friends or people that care and love you wouldn't want to see you hurting. People who love you don't destroy you.

I love your videos! I am very interested in gemstones and i`m also from Dresden. Overall a very nice brief summary on colour origin on diamond There is no question about how bandgap physics works and no question about the principles behind colour centres in diamond. There are many many papers on this along with PhD theses (mine included). There is a question on the exact energy level structures of some defects and uncertainties about which defects cause certain absorptions/ colours though. I'm surprised you didn't mention that irradiated diamond (and many others) change colour under mild heat treatment or UV illumination. This can be a really interesting aspect of diamond colour. If you're ever looking to consult on facts surrounding colour centres, I'd be happy to help.

I find it so fascinating to know how diamonds get their colors from many chemicals exposure and pressure.🙎‍♀️🌈💎 I know there to find🗺/make🥽⚗ them and find out colorless diamonds can be made by extreme temperatures🔥🌡 are very interesting too.🤔 My favorites colors on them are pink💖 and black🖤 ones. Knowing this now makes it almost completely impossible to know if your diamond was born out of the earth that color, or what the hell happened to it? and now with lab created diamonds passing the Diamond test! diamonds are incredibly overrated to me at this point!
