After watching this video, I feel like collecting a wide range of ephemera to use in my journal somehow. So far, I’ve only had a bulk of packaging that I still don’t know what to do with. They’re just too many for my own preference, but I still want to keep them.

So many kinds of ephemera, TYSM for the insight 😍✨. I got so many ephemera from food/ product packaging, clothes tag, & brochures from Interior Design tile/fixtures company 😅 for the past five years yet still need more time to use their fullest potential 🤣.

collecting ephemera is such a blast - both in the present moment while visiting new places and in the future when looking back at your past adventures! love the idea of postcarding yourself a personal message; i'll have to try that some time!

My problem is I collect EVERYTHING when I travel so my luggage is so heavy with brochures, etc. I also have a problem with storage when I get home from my trips with all my stuff. I need to learn how to edit my ephemera. Question: so many receipts and tickets are printed on thermal paper, how do you go about retaining the information on your ephemera?

Definitely! Edit is key 🔑 I hope you find a better solution with storage! Another tip I recommend is you can eliminate which ones you don’t need before leaving a place so it won’t take up too much luggage weight. I have a small journal I usually bring along with a log of things like what happened in specific days, what I bought etc - I definitely throw out receipts once I’ve listed them somewhere. The boarding passes and tickets seem to not fade as much :)

I like to collect postage stamp. I remember it is easier to find rare postage stamp in Rustic/Vintage Market at cheap price but if you find really rare collection you can resell at at few hundreds or even thousands to the stamp collector.

I usually sent postcards to myself at home when i am travelling. I written down what i did and whom i was with. But sometimes this his hard because a place that sell tge postcards dont have the postage stamp to sent. I even ask my family members to sent me some when they are travelling 😬

Haha you have to find the post offices. For me it’s a bit of extra work but I like sending myself postcards as proof of where I’ve been too!

Love this video! Question tho, do you use the ephemera in your file folder inside your journal or like to journal with? Or do you just keep/collect them? Also, how do you store / organize ephemera while you’re traveling? I know all my travels have been fast paced and I don’t really have time to tstop and journal it all daily. Thank you!!!❤

Very random indeed 😂 I wear a lot of nudes and browns for my lip colors, then I only use 1 eyeshadow palette (Urban Decay Naked Heat the mini size haha

Its hard today to got ephemera : plane tickets are online, they dont give brochure in museum etc. I was in Sicily last week and only guides in churchs/monuments with a Q/R code...Even the post stamps had a Q/R code...

I pronounce it differently too, I googled it and it is pronounced as uh-feh-mr-uh. But great video nonetheless!
