I read many comments and got the confusion which you guys have, in that problem where we did for R3Ge radical why I didn't took Hydrogen attached to carbon and said it will not participate in splitting. Actually it should participate but here we have to neglect it for following reasons: Firstly it's not mentioned that what R is, is it methyl, ethyl, isopropyl what exactly R is, depending on that you have to take number of H. Since it's not mentioned so you cannot take any number of H here. Secondly in options you don't have any value more than 10 lines which is our answer after neglecting Hydrogens here, so you cannot have any other option to choose. Now if it would've mentioned in the question about R, then obviously we will take those Hydrogens in splitting. I hope it's clear now.

In ESR, while analysing ·OH radical using DMPO, I got ·OH signal and extra peaks. What could be the reason for excess peaks other than ·OH spectra?

In anthracene 3 different hydrogens are present so overall 75 lines . And in phenanthrene 5 different hydrogens are present so overall 243 lines 🤗☺️☺️sir thank you much for the explanation 🤗it really helps me a lot . Respect and regards 🙏🙏🙏

A good video. But I am comfused whether H in NH3 radical take part in splitting? how many number of lines will be obtained? In the last problem you discussed, 25 lines came out as answer but somewhere it has given 60 lines as answer, please explain.
