Welcome to my channel sanchita craft shop.
Today i am showing you fabric painting of my cotton shirt with Sponge dabbing technique. it is a very simple and less time consuming technique
but the results are very beautiful and neat. In this video i have shown all the steps of fabric painting in details. Steps like-
Washing before painting
ironing
choosing colours
securing fabric from colour smug
fabric painting
Sponge dabbing technique
drying the fabric
iron after painting
washing for d first time
and Many others tips also..

Fabric color isn't same as acrylic color. Acrylic color is mainly for painting on canvas. It can be used on fabric but makes it stiff and eventually the painted parts start cracking. Also it doesn't last as long as fabric colors does. Fabric colors keeps the painted parts soft. If you are painting on a fabric that you won't wash a lot then use acrylic. But if you are going to wash the cloth a lot and wear it frequently then use fabric colours

Yes you are right...and you can add fabric medium to acrylic paint then it doesn't stiff, remains soft after drying and last longer!

@@kalaiyarasibhuvana128 this spoong dabbing tecnique works better on cotton. In other mixed fabrics like silk or chiffon the color may spread. If you do normal painting like using paint brush...then you can choose any fabric. Drying and washing instructions are same for all.
