Hi Dave, I hope you are keeping well. I just love your videos and this is another great one. I've learned lot about what materials do and have purchased many from listening to your advice. Many thanks for taking the time to teach us and keep up the good work .
I found that using minimal top notes allows the heavier base notes to trap the lighter molecules of the citrus. It dissipates a little slower. Also using citrus florals like May Chang, Orange Blossom and Linden Blossom. The Celestolide musk has a lime citrus nuance. This can make your citrus appear to last longer. But to me, I found that the more fixatives you have, the less projection and silage you get. Just my experience
I do different scents perfumes with essential oils and perfume alcohol only! Sir could u please let me know which and how much fextive is best for me to make my perfumes last longer? I’m doing 50ml
Question: Some alcohol is more smellier of alcohol than others, and especially outside the US it's difficult to get a good price on alcohol with very little smell. Will the fixative (like benzyl salicylate) increase and extend the smell of the alcohol too....?
@@DenverDave Im not really a fan of that one. I get a kind of off milk smell from that one. Weird. Its not sweet or anything. I get mostly just air. Ozonic.
The only material that reacts to ALD's is methyl anthrianilate. It has a reaction to other materials as well, FYI. But fixatives and ald. don't negatively affect each other.
Hi, can you help me to develop fragrance for laundry detergent.. I tried but there is no smell after washing. When taking clothes after washing, there is no smell. Please guide me for the same. Making from natural essential oils. All formulation is natural.
So sorry i commented before about making a video on fixatives. Im watching this eagerly but can you please recommend a fixative that just greatly increases projection?
(I know I'm not Dave, but I can say:) fixatives do the opposite of projection. They cling to highly aromatic molecules so that your top and middle notes last longer.
Fragrance oils usually contain essential oils so you can add more essential oils to your Fragrance Oils. To be clear, fragrance oil’s are typically purchased for making soap, candles, oil perfumes etc. However, I never use fragrance oils to create perfume. And I would tell you to not use fragrance oil‘s to create perfumes, even oil perfumes. Dave
For upscaling, the only procedure is doing the math but it will be better to use grams. Using Grams for your formula is the only real way to upscale properly and accurately. Dave
